This is a very agile aeroplane! Those tight loops must have been pulling a lot of Gs, I remember seeing one on rebuild at Audley End and thinking how nice the tube steel structure was. Many thanks for posting this. Chris B.

I really like very much the aerobatic capabilities of this plane with a relatively slow cadence in which maneuvers look better. -The plane is agile and the pilot is very good. -What a paradox to think that it was conceived as an aerobatic trainer for luftwaffe combat pilots and when the pilots were assigned to fly in combat Me109 and FW190 in combat, what they learned in the Jungmann or Jungmeister was impossible to replicate, at least to a greater extent in those much heavier fighters and much less agile.

My two grandfathers trained, among other planes, in 1944 on the Bü131.
The wings weigh 24lbs each so another reason to hate comentry at air shows if your going to say something make sure you get it right
