My first Metallica album Ive heard was Garage Inc, still my fav, but I guess it's a cheat.... other fav is S&M (also cheat:)), but I actually dug St Anger, but the fact I used to be in a Met tribute band and were playing couple tunes from jt deeefinitely helped!
