Anxiety is a fear that grips you. As an adult child if an alcoholic my needs were not met. I spent a lot of time alone. I even had to call the cops because my dad split his head open on the corner of a dresser because he fell asleep sitting up in bed because he was drunk.

It makes everything worse when you are physically alone and no one to turn to for support

Somehow we hold it such emotions and experiences which further get reinforced.... and how to release, unhook from them?

Think about how much you would be worried about losing your job if you were absolutely confident 100%, that your friends, family, and spouse, would all stick with you through it, no matter what. Fear of abandonment is at the core of hypervigilance to threat.

So how do you get rid of the core emotion of loneliness

How do you, then, correct core shame? What is the best or most efficient way? Using emotion?
