Hot tip, cut the interfacing ¼ to ½ inch smaller, then sew at the edge of the interfacing. Gives a great turn

I would add a cotton with interfacing. Also twill, denim, canvas or mudcloth would work.

I would just use cotton and add interfacing for durability. A heavy twill, home decor, jean or canvas would work.
