I grew up in this town when we had huge celebrations, a park with amusements/ animals, our own Holiday Inn, movie theaters, school bands, house parties, block parties, State Fair, heritage day, black owned homes and businesses, industry of all kinds ( Trenton Makes). It's just a shadow - creating pimps, players, hustlers, gamblers, hoes, and crack on every corner. I moved out- to never, ever , never return.
This ain’t nun new Trenton been like this since the 70s-80s this also goes for most of Jersey which improved a lot i remember before they torn down the projects it was very violent and they were at war but the sense of community was stronger back then at the same time

He isn't really in the run down parts of Trenton either. And I agree, Trenton isn't as bad as other cities in a 100 mile radius. Philly, Baltimore, Camden, Newark NJ & DE all have some pretty rough areas.
For sure there is ruff places Trenton isnt exactly SAFE though either what is weird about Trenton is that there are really nice blocks followed by a ruff block. Its weird the area looks all good go to the next block and its questionable then back to good like by the planetarium & state library
