I really love how Hasbro is committing to the idea of fully transformable weaponizers. This makes the figure more worth the price than the previous weaponizers which were glorified accessory packs that couldn't transform. Here we're getting a figure that can actually stand on its own as a proper Transformers figure
Junkions coming to bits is "i canon" so is automatically more acceptable to those who don't care for disassembly toys as much usually. I'd like to see them make a few bigger ones some time - The larger Micromaster bases being an obvious thing to adapt into this concept. It might be quite an interesting thing to do with Countdown for example as a commander class.
I really hope we get more that aren't motorcycles. It always bugs me how motorcycle figures do not scale properly with trucks. I might skip this one just because he doesn't scale properly with the other junkie
@@keilafleischbein59 this particular figure is an alien motorcycle but the scaling issue is a problem with almost all motorcycle TransformersEven the ones with Earth modes. There are several figures in which the motorcycle as part of a team is the same size as an ambulance which doesn't make sense for earthmode vehicles and outside of the Junkies a cybertronian turning into a motorcycle to be ridden does not make sense because other cybertronians could just turn into Vehicles themselves. Hasbro themselves do not care about scale and they rarely use it when they should
@@keilafleischbein59 well he's part of a different line and isn't even meant to scale with the Legacy figures. It just bugs me that the other junkie is the correct size to ride this guy's motorcycle mode but they're not scaled to work the other way around which would be impossible. I just honestly think they should have gone with a different mode entirely or made it a drone cycle or something. I just generally think that motorcycle Transformers should stick to core class. Especially when they're part of a combiner team
@@keilafleischbein59 yes they often repurpose the toys across multiple different lines however Studio series of which 86 is a part of are meant to be animation and movie accurate figures and have a separate scaling from those that are animation lines specific like the war for Cybertron line. They are two separate lines but occasionally when another figure pops up in the other line they simply retool or remold an existing figure. War for Cybertron and its sequel series are the current main line figures for Netflix and 86 are the animation accurate characters for the 86 film in cartoon just like we have two separate lines for the new Bumblebee figures. There is the rise of the Beast main line which are more simple and a studio series version of the same characters. 86 and Legacy are two separate lines they just happened to overlap occasionally
LMAO the Voyager junkion riding the deluxe one reminds me of all these kids in my community riding these little mini bike things all over town with their a$s cracks out busting a sag, literally LOL and ROFL.
Look like size wise a 3.75" Human figure or even a core class might ride him fairly effectively in vehicle mode. Shame he has a hole in the back of his head though, and that gap fillers don't get made for disassembly figures that often, as I'd like soles of feet fillers for this guy.. I do think it is a shame you really need to stock up on 5mm female to female posts to be able to use the torso as a weapon combination as it lacks any kind of usable post I can see so far. I'll likely end up with a lot of these guys and have fun combining them into monsters and making custom vehicles out of them. I think you might be able to do some nutty things like make a bigger motor cycle out of multiples too - especially if using Wreck Gar's wheels. I wonder how long it will be before we find out their name ?
yeah, a buddy of mine posted some pics on Insta with the old MU 3.75 inch commander rogers riding this figure in bike mode and it looks great! yeah, good points bro I'm guessing he could be Re-Cycle ?
Junkion motorcycle alt modes actually are in scale because they are meant for Transformers, not for humans. Of course for this one it works better to use Legends or Core class figures as riders but I think the Voyagers work pretty well on top of each other. Btw doesn't he have a real name or do we just not know it yet?
I decided to cancel both preorders. I really don't like the way they look next to the SS86 Voyager Junkions. I'll gladly buy any future Voyager sized junkions in the future though!
I agree the parts forming works. But it's also due to them being junkions. In the movie they fell apart and put themselves together again. So that functionality is normal and imo not a lazy excuse. I like these limited limbs falling off figures more than the fossilizers.
Lol, pretty much RTS Wreck Gar transformation redesigned without brittle parts and lousy materials. "- It's not hard to knock 'em down, it's getting them to stay down that's the trick! - They're indestructible! - And they're everywhere!" Too bad wave 1 of LE is due May 2023 (!) and there are no pre-orders for wave 2 so far. In fact, sh, I mean, third wave of Legacy got released few weeks ago and man, these are garbage... I may have got lucky with Dead End on QC lottery (aside from paint spilling out of rim on right rear wheel there are no qc issues), but the others... Even TM2 Megs has issues (assembly with head cannot tab into torso in robot mode), maybe Inferno is kind of okay (though pin that holds abdomen is a bit loose, unless it is intended to spin freely, like rotor blades of helicopter :D), the rest is qc issues fest + occasionally bad design or trash grade materials.
DARE TO BE STUPID! ... batteries not included... some assembly required 😆 the more junkions the better don't forget combiner wars walgreens exclusive wreck-gar I know you must still have him, small head and all.

I feel the same bro, even though I'm not fully committed to the idea of break-apart weaponizers...
I liked the weaponizers, they were a fun play gimmick. But fully transformable ones are top tier.
I'm getting all the junkion figures. The design and colors are fantastic for both and I can't wait to see what's next
awesome bro!

yeah, I'd be interesting to see other alt modes for these junkions
This time a year ago, I'd never thought I'd be excited for new Junkions, but here I am.
oh yeah, same bro... but these legacy evolution junkions are pretty cool!
Interesting transformation! The Junkions are knocking it out of the park. A definite buy for me
indeed! awesome bro!
Another amazing review done as always chefatron my boy!!
oh thank you so much bro! I appreciate the support as always 🙂
Legacy junkions are awesome
indeed... but they're not for me... I'll just be sticking with the SS86 Junkions...
Definitely hyped to see more Junkion
same bro!

That looks amazing action figure chefatron
oh it is! thanks so much bro 🙂
There you go. Awesome review as always bro. I knew you would like it if you liked scrapbook .
thanks so much bro as always 😀 yeah, I was a bit worried I'd hate this figure, good think I loved it 😀
Epic review Chefatron!! I think its fantastic that we are getting such a diverse group of Junkions. :D Keep on being amazing.
thanks so much bro as always 😀 yeah, I'm hoping we get more!
@@chefatron You're welcome. :D

I see... fair point bro, I actually like that these deluxes can ride the voyagers perfectly
I think partsforming is perfectly fine with Junkions, and should be expected given their character!
yes good point
Awesome!!! Want one after this review for sure!!!

well, they actually kinda grow on you despite being smaller than the SS86 Junkions... perhaps look for them when they go on clearance ?

Another big plus is the color scheme. They are so detailed. Lots of character. With unique heads that fit the theme of junkions.
All these Motorcycles make me really feel hopeful about Armada Sideways...
well, we'll have to wait and see...
I love his design
yeah, it came out pretty well actually
I really hope Hasbro release Wreck-Gar's love interest Nancy. I think she's make an awesome deluxe.
yeah that would be amazing if they did that
Me gusta el diseño de estos nuevos junkions, tendrán un modo combinado?
awesome!
oh I'm not sure, sorry
Great review, thank you. I'm thinking how quickly the detachable arms come loose?
thanks so much bro
oh, they're ok I guess, not super tight, but not loose... so far
I love the disco music!
thanks so much!
This figure is very cool.
yes definitely!
So the head just press into body...no tab to hold the head when in robot mode
well, it stays up pretty ok in bot mode
so small... I glad I didn't get him! I was hoping to add with the 86 series...
that's cool bro

I don't know man... I'm pretty impressed with Legacy Evolution figures, so far...
Looks great, much better than scraphook
yeah, I agree bro
Very nice 👍
thanks so much 😊
I kinda want 2 because of the yellow leg
cool! happy hunting man
Super sick!
definitely
thanks so much!
Noice 👌
thanks so much bro as always 😀
Do you have the new legacy prowl?
yes, my review's up, please check it out 😀
oh helll no YOU GOT IT?!?
hahaha yes 😀
There’s no way this guy isn’t getting retooled into a legacy wreck gar.
perhaps
Wheelie riding the bike would probably scale better.
yes perhaps
Awesome
thanks so much!
Wow
thanks!
So is this guy just being marketed as "Junkion" or does he have a specific name? It's kinda unclear from the news sites.
inthink you had the fists backwards
really? my bad... in the review it's fine, just that one photo I forgot to twist them back

yes!
Looks like a Megazord head
perhaps
another easy pass
that's cool bro
