They seem to be easy, but he never promised to be easy. We have to practice every day, preferably the same pair again and again and again. Take a picture of every chart you dealt with. Then look and see where were missed opportunities and mistakes.
Preach! I lost 100k my first year of day trading and lost almost every way imaginable; took bad trades; over traded; bought at the top; got flushed without having a stop; traded weak stocks; didn’t pay attention to key levels of support/resistance, etc, etc
Always ask for back testing proofs before you buy any system that tells you the have 60, 70, 80 90% wining rate, it’s so difficult to find a top 40% wining rate, don’t burn your money Ask for proof of back testing
FANTASTIC OLIVER.....I never realized that one way to determine if a change in trend is actually a TREND reversal and NOT a temporary pull back, is to. LOOK AT THE BARS WHICH PRODUCED THIS CHANGE IN DIRECTION.........ARE THEY MAJOR BARS SUCH AS A 180 OR TAIL BARS, or bars of little significance.

You just stated a new concept....THE QUALITY OF THE DROP OR RALLY....I reviewed the three drops on the above chart....I notice, the momentum is greater in drop one, decreases slightly in drop two and decreases substantially on drop three....Momentum is the rate or speed of the decline or rally....Simply compare the rate of drop in the first drop to the last drop and it is clear the speed has decreased.Therefore the quality of the drop has reduced....This loss of momentum would have produced a positive divergence of RSI or Stock. Instead, you can train your eyes.

I love the 200 bounce. 25% is almost guaranteed. Retrace then short when red takes out green.
