The PGR ost that is super underrated and also made by the Haloweak, its called Extinction, I havent seen one CC react to it, it just screams Tekken. Edit: its not a limited event theme so its always there in memory rescue stages but many people doesnt seem to notice the soundtrack or forgotten about it.
Why people like PGR? I think the 100% motivated Alpha video that went viral with a million views is the embodiment of why. In terms of OST PGR has lots of nice chill mystical / chillstep(?) mixed with dark electronic vibes. It’s not too chaotic and the traditional instrumentals mix nicely with modern. I still think HIKARI is PGR’s most iconic stand-out piece of music. Nikke’s music is on another level though at least for me.
The patch that releases the first S Class Alpha vs the new boss Rosetta that was accompanied by Narwhal is what saved and made PGR popular. While the Crimson Weave Alpha vs the Hetero Twins just made it even more popular because Crimson Weave introduces the 2nd gen S Class frames that bring in the newer, faster, and even better gameplay feel
i feel like the game experience for CCs in pgr is odd. they get to enjoy the good things individually before they actually get to it in game. mixing the story, the characters and the battle is what completes the game for me.
The real crime is PGR has so much good music beyond what's just popular which is usually what most people pay attention to during like high moments rather than much of the downtime stuff, especially as a lot of it is hard to find. More on this later....
