- As my previous video with this content got lots of interest, I decided to make part 2 with other my favorite artists from SK, that have been inspired, worked w/ BB, or just big fanboys as DinDin.
Also, I wanted to make this video with the idea of VIPs checking out other talented artists in Korean music. Especially legends as Epik High, Dynamic Duo, Lee Hyori, and many more.

BIGBANG is THE kpop manual. You can ask your own fave k-idols/bias about it. The only thing not in that manual is synchronization. 😂 which I believe Infinite started.
but i actually dislike synchronization too much because it doesn't give the artist its own originality and seems manufactured
If any other group has been through the amount of scandals they've had to deal with, they'll probably disband. But BIGBANG has remained to be one of the most highly anticipated acts in KPOP until today. Their music is still trending and people actively look them up because they miss them. To have a musical legacy as rich as theirs is amazing. Nothing but RESPECT for these incredible artists.

Your favorite group may play larger venues and have greater album sales and more views, streams, etc. but how many of them can stay relevant after so many years despite numerous career-ending controversies? How many of them can stay relevant if they go through as many hiatuses as Big Bang has had? Big Bang don't have to constantly promote 2-3x a year just to stay on top. They do it through music alone. How many other groups can do the same?

@@melodypachuau4897 I absolutely agree w/ you in regards to their performances. I don't watch a ton of K-Pop groups but Big Bang were the first that I saw who amazed me w/ their live stages. Most K-Pop groups simply dance to and lip-synch to their songs. YG never prioritized choreography (especially w/ Big Bang) like other K-Pop groups did so they had to "wow" us instead with their singing, rapping, energy, and stage presence. Perhaps it's because I'm from the U.S. and their style catered to my Western sensibilities but it always bored me when K-Pop groups would lip-synch to their songs and would add nothing to their live performances (dancing though, is not nothing and takes skill and energy).
Big Bang would frequently use ad libs, a live band, extended intros, etc. in their concerts that always differentiated their MV/ music show performances from their live ones. I mean, even in their 2012 MAMA stage, T.O.P wrote a new verse for "Crayon" and the other members sang/ rapped to GD's solo song. Lol.

Yeah tablo is right. I'm not into hiphop but Bigbang made me live this genre.
Recognition from senior artists is the best gauge that an artist can get. Bigbang are truly legends. Their songs are decade old but still people sing-along everytime. Bigbang will always be significant, whether they are active or in hiatus. Amazing talent, skills, charisma, swag and visuals. BTW, love Tablo's take on why BB is loved by people in the industry. Well said.

You're not going to find another legendary group whose hits are consistently written and produced by its core - GD/Teddy/TOP/Taeyang. Seo Taiji is another.
Bigbang is a versatile group. They are successful as a group and as solo artists.

2. After he left YG, one would expect that he would choose another entertainment company. Instead, he signed up with Galaxy Corp- a corporation which is into metaverse platform
3. And just recently, he's been appointed as a professor at KAIST where he would help expand Korean culture into content via technology. He even mentioned maximizing the use of AI in music platforms.
G-DRAGON is not just a musical genius and performer. He is an ARTIST and an INNOVATOR- A TRAILBLAZER always ahead of his time. He has set and will continue to set the bar TOO HIGH, that “others” will just look up to him in awe. Those “others” may be more POPULAR now or even in the future than G-DRAGON, because of the ever-evolving measures of popularity and commercial success. But they will never attain the status of being called a LEGEND, that is G-DRAGON!

Amen. Even after the years of hiatuses that we've been through during the entire course of their career, the moment they step in front of us with a mic everyone is suddenly a VIP. This last hiatus was like 5 years. Even in another 5 years, 10 years, and 20 years we will still be VIPs and get hype when they come in front of us.

The KINGS OF KPOP indeed, they’re admired from khip hop industry which is the biggest kind of accomplishment you can receive since they don’t say things to please the audience or other fandoms
BIGBANG are just one of those groups that will never be irrelevant, even after years of hiatus, even with the troubled past, they will remain relevant and successful!
the fact that most of the artists in this video are all successful in their own rights right now and somehow they were influenced by BigBang in some way is a greater acknowledgement and a proof of how great BigBang is. and imo it is better than any awards from those music shows.

Whenever BB releases an album this video plays in the back of my mind rent free lol. I start looking which artists are promoting within the same time to wish em all good luck.
In a way you’ll always be compared to them but if you’re second or third place while they promote, you’ll get more notice from new fans that are also interested in Big Bang.

I'm two years late but the cutest part of Big Naughty being a BB fanboy is because his mom was a fan of theirs when she was younger so she is constantly listening to their music around him.
Bigbang started as a hiphop/r&b group. They released a m/v called number 1 dancing in the club with hot girls. They're nothing like "idols" when you think about it. Bigbang always been surrendered by girls in a lot of their M/V and girl dancers. Bigbang was called ugly in their early days by the netizens.

i think the fact that bigbang are still relevant is because there’s no boy group can be like bigbang, now the largest boygroup or any group felt like dancing competition with the same genre compared to Bigbang, their own style.
