6,000 Mile Tilmor Equipment Tour Highlights

- At Tilmor, we love meeting and talking with growers of all kinds.
Friday August 6th 2021 Lydell Steiner and company began an adventure West for a one month 6,000 mile tour of Tilmor events. They visited over 20 farms and countless farmers to talk cultivation & learn about their needs. The group brought several pieces of Tilmor equipment for demos including a Power Ox 240, a 520 Tractor, and a few implements for each.
Many great conversations were had and friendships began through this amazing trip out West!
Small growers face unique challenges and often must rely on older equipment that was developed many years ago for mechanized cultivation. This often means farmers are forced to rely on parts that are obsolete, poorly constructed or difficult to find.
Our goal is to produce a variety of implements for planting, cultivation, harvest, post-harvest, and more.
These implements will be built to last and fully supported by Tilmor, making it easy to find and purchase the equipment you need to maintain your farm.

Glad to hear it! It was a blast and we wish we could always be out at others farms, but at least we get to keep connecting with them through social media and phone calls throughout the season. Looking forward to this next season as well!
How fun! I moved from Portland Oregon to Northwest Ohio this past spring and I love it here and it was really fun to get to see the country between the two places. Gresham Oregon is only about a half an hour from Portland

Some great scenery but very little focus on the farms and how they use the tractors and implements. Hopefully, there will be a more in depth focus on the farms as these are your customers.
Can you advise where your next show schedules are? I'm interested in hands-on viewing just like this video shows. I'm in Minnesota, but I could visit anywhere in neighboring States, Iowa, S.Dakota, N. Dakota, Wisconsin. Thank you.
Great question/suggestion! We are finalizing some of our schedule right now but hope to have this listed on our website and on some of our social media profiles. If you have any suggestions in your area for field days or shows that you feel we should be attending just let us know.
None of these companies ever show their products working hard. Am I surprised that your stuff can move clean earth without weeds? Hardly...
