Hi Ruth, A few weeks ago, I stumbled across The Appalachian Channel & I subscribed. Since then, I've been "binge-watching" all I can find about The Guenther Family, their family relations & their seemingly endless endeavors. Today, I subscribed to your channel...even though it's presently void of content. Hopefully, you'll add some videos...when you're not so crazy-busy.🙂 This video is now 7 months old...but...I hope you will receive my message. My reason for writing this to you is to say your "Shepherds' Pie" looks DELICIOUS!!!! It's 1 of my favorite foods on Earth. Additionally, to explain that you are 100% correct. As you said; This traditional British//Irish dish is most often prepared with lamb meat. Hence the name; Shepherds' Pie. 🙂 However, when it's made with beef, it's called "Cottage Pie". Those fried pies reminded me of my Grandma. She used to make them with apples from her trees and that she dried herself. Those are some wonderful recipes and I'm sure the delicacies are big sellers. God bless the Guenthers for keeping these old family traditions alive.

You ladies are doing a great job of making delicious goodies! I grew up with a wood fired cook stove! It was a joy during winter months, yet loved a lot less during hot summer months, as we had no air conditioning at that time! All your goodies are looking wonderful!

Made the sorghum cookies from the Guenther family cookbook this afternoon. They are delicious. They turned out nice and soft, perfect amount of spice, and the sorghum gives them a unique depth of flavor.

Looks delish .. and yes I agree it’s getting harder for families to get together with life. Life is crazy sometimes…, I just had a birthday on Sunday and my kids surprise me with a potluck dinner at my house. They did all the cooking and everything and it was great and I’m a simple person . It was really nice for all my kids and my grandbabies to be here at my house

We were just in the store this afternoon. We followed the cooking in the video from the cookbook we purchased. Wonderful people and so many interesting items inside and outside the store. The kittens were an added treat in the parking lot. Had to explain that to our dogs when we got home.

I believe so. It was hard for me to track episodes as some were not labeled with the season and episode. I'm not savvy on the computer so I may have missed something. Thanks for the play list. I do Sunday dinners with lots of leftovers to take home. My grandparents and my two twin aunts, who lived in the mountains of WV. I spent many summers there and they would cook from scratch.. I can still hear the glass scraping the table when making biscuits. Loved your video.❤

I live in east central Illinois in the big old farmhouse on the farm where my husband grew up. At 70+ years old, and multiple health issues, i doubt I will ever make the trip to visit your store. I do Sunday dinners with lots of leftovers to take home. My grandparents and my two twin aunts, who lived in the mountains of WV. I spent many summers there and they would cook from scratch.. I can still hear the glass scraping the table when making biscuits. Loved your video.❤
