Dan Vasc doesn't need to match note for note he improves many songs. All his music is epic.

The thing is, Dan generally mimics their sound in the 1st verse or two & sporadically throughout, for homage, but all the rest is totally Dan being Dan. Which is what we love love love.

That is a collaborator who Dan has worked with for years!. His name is Victor the guitar nerd. 🎸 He is crazy talented. As a matter of fact YT demonetized this track for a bit due to the algorithm thought it was Iron Maidens track uploaded and yes, Braizilizan Portuguese is his native language. ALL metal was devil worship back in the 80s.
Insanely talented. He nailed the song. Yeah I saw that when I uploaded this reaction. Instant copyright claim. And the dispute already got rejected. We actually discussed Dee Snyder going before congress in the 80s about rock n roll, but I edited it out

Dan Vasc has a phenomenal vocal range. Dan is classically trained and can sing opera to heavy metal and everything in between. To really hear Dan's range check out his Music Of The Night, from Phantom Of The Opera.
Dan still lives in Brazil and has a accent. Some of his older covers he speaks at the end, you will hear his accent.
Yeah I definitely want to check those out and I am planning on it. It's just hard balancing every artist, but I will get to them in the future

Great reactions to a fantastic version of this classic song. Dan hit it out of the park. He has always lived in Brazil, although he has always wanted to come to the US. He speaks several languages and sings Angels We Have Heard on High in 4 languages, Nessun Dorma (opera) in Italian, and more. He and his band Fearless have 5 songs, his original music. A Tale With No End is the first song from The Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom album. He also does Dawn of Victory, a Rhapsody of Fire cover, with the original lead vocalist Fabio Lione and Fearless. It is amazing and was a highlight of his career so far to sing with a musician that inspired his music style. Please continue to react to more of his music. Tanks.

Dan is from Brazil and lives there. He has never been to the US. He speaks Brazilian Portuguese and English fluently.

Phenomenal reaction to an epic cover. Dan Vasc is half Brazilian and Half Italian and can sing in multiple languages.

I saw a couple of live videos from them. They put on a pretty good show from what I saw
I saw maiden 3 times. My very first concert ever at 12 in 1983; then at 14; then a 3rd time in the last tour. Definitely one of my favorite bands and Dan totally nailed it!!!

Victor is amazing and doesn't like to show his face.He now plays for the band Élaine (I've since been corrected, it's Eleine) and you can see his face😉 Fearless is phenominal, see "A Tale with no End". A song you would do well to check out is "Battle Hymn", personally, I love it! Glad you enjoyed it and hoping for more Dan reactions.

Victor The Guitar Nerd is the guitarist and someone Dan works with a LOT. He's not a member of Fearless, Dan's heavy metal band. The opening narration was provided by FearTheBeardo and his voice is perfect! Very dark and intimidating. Definitely gets your attention from the start! The backlit setup is perfect, too. Since you enjoyed this cover you might be interested to know that new music from Fearless, Dan's heavy metal band, will apparently be dropping soon. I'm basing this on a recent post by a sound/recording engineer discussing putting final touches on Fearless recordings and since Chronicles of Ancient Wisdom has been out since October 14, 2019, this is the only thing that makes sense. No more info is available at present so I recommend keeping an eye on Dan's sites. I'll be haunting all of them so I know the minute the new epic storyline is available! Happy anticipation!
Yeah the intro was great. For sure, if people will let me know when something new drops like how they did about this song, that would be great. I'll definitely have to check out Fearless before then too

Hi guys! In regards to Victor playing the bass guitar, which is bad ass btw, Dan’s brother Davi Vasc is in his band Fearless and plays the bass guitar really, really well! Check out Dan’s song Dawn of Victory with Fabio Lione, and you will see Dan’s band Fearless playing all the instruments in it.

The guitarist is VictorTheGuitarNerd, who has appeared on many of Dan's videos. He never shows his face on Dan's videos, but he has photos on Eleine's page, since he just became a full-time guitarist for. As for dan, he lives in Juiz De Fora, Brazil, and learned English mostly through video games; he's a huge fan of retro games. He's had ten years of singing lessons, and he's got 200+ absolutely amazing songs on his channel and is working on a Manowar tribute album, among other projects. Keep the excellent reactions coming! Do a reaction to Tale With No End, an original song with his band Fearless, which includes his brother Davi and their childhood friends Gabriel and Giovanni and their cover of Dawn Of Victory, with Fabio Lione, the original singer of that great Rhapsody song.

This song was based on a dream one of the Iron Maiden's band members had after seeing one of the Omen movies. Dan seems to be losing more of his beautiful accent every year but is still evident when he speaks.

Dan Vasc and his band Fearless collab with Fabio Leone for Dawn of Victory. They did the whole thing in his garage. Fabio was touring in Brazil and stopped by. EPIC!!

Yes, there is a video of Iron Maiden performing this live. It's metal strong, but their message seemed to be mocking the concept of Revelation. Dan, on the other hand, seemed to be announcing the event is happ- pennn-ing, so get offa the fence NOW.

I had forgotten the song was about a nightmare one of the band members had after seeing The Omen 2. So more just describing that nightmare more than anything, but also yeah the bible verse at the beginning is I think a combination of Revelations 12:12 and 13:18? There's so many iterations and translations it's hard to pinpoint it 100%, but I think that's it
Dan was born and raised in Brazil learnt English through singing, some of his older videos he talks at the end

Victor the Guitar Nerd is from Sweden. He has done a lot of songs with Dan. He is insanely talented, like Dan is vocally.

Watch the way that Dan is standing. His stance is his interpretation of how the beast would stand. Viktor, the Guitar Nerd mimics Dan's stand in some sections to emphasise the beast. All in all, wonderful vocals, guitar and choreography. You may want to include Dan's outros, in which he shows a lot of his personality. Sadly, he's not doing them anymore. I wish that he would reintroduce them.

Dan & Victor did a phenomenal job on this cover. From what I understand, Victor's guitar was so close to the original version that TH-cam gave a copyright strike at first, and they had to prove it was Victor doing it. Dan has done other Iron Maiden covers -- "Two Minutes to Midnight" & "The Trooper".
Yeah this video got a copyright claim on it, too. I was not going to appeal it and risk getting a strike on the channel

It's funny - when i hear people say he sounds like the original - because I've heard a lot of different versions by Iron Maiden now, and i don't think Dan sounds like Bruce AT ALL, his voice is deeper, fuller with a lot more resonance in the deep register, and he puts a lot more and sharper grit into it, than Bruce did in any of the versions I've seen.
And his scream is held longer and dwells more in the slide.
So no, i don't agree with that sentiment at all.
But then different ears hear different things

The guitar and bass is done all for one guy: Victor the guitar nerd, friend of Dan.
And he did an amazing job
Dan does have a slight accent, but it does not show up when he sings. He was born and raised in Brazil t a Brazilian mother and Italian father and his native language is Brazilian Portuguese.

It's hard to believe that all this is done in Dan's basement & garage in Brazil, Victor the Guitar Nerd is a long time friend of Dan's. If you want to check out a great song of Dan's "Black Wind Fire And Steel" features LUIS MARIUTTI on guitar (Manowar Cover) it's the best guitar playing I have ever seen in my life!
