yooo I really like that piece! I feel like it could be about sabotage, I saw that the paw of the tiger was on the subject's lap, which could be like symbol for companionship, and the subject was killing the tiger and therefore ending a relationship built on trust? Ahahaha idk, but that's what popped up in my mind. I really like that you used the dark background, I usually don't incorporate black or the illusion of black at all in my paintings but it worked so well here- there was so much contrast and it rlly fuelled the overall atmosphere it creates. It gives me heavy renaissance painting vibes. I'd love to know what u took Inspo from. Also it's so nice to see people sharing their experience of art school, I'm gonna go to art school as well in 4 months and this helps me know more about what it'd be like.
