Mumbai Trans Harbour Link: PM Modi walks on the newly built India's longest sea bridge 'Atal Setu'

- PM Modi inaugurated the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri - Nhava Sheva Atal Setu. The Prime Minister’s vision is to improve the ‘ease of mobility’ of citizens by strengthening urban transport infrastructure and connectivity. In line with this vision, the Mumbai Transharbour Link (MTHL), now named ‘Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewri - Nhava Sheva Atal Setu’ has been built. The foundation stone of the bridge was also laid by the Prime Minister in December 2016.

Yearly pass 1.5 lakh rupees to use this bridge. Looking like only rich, wealthy and politicians will be able to use this bridge. Common man will just see the video only.

Old route is 57 km, new is 22km. Maths for up-down is: old route -57*2 = 114 Kms, new route = 22* 2 = 44, difference is 70 Km less for new route. My vehicle gives mileage of 10km per litre, so it basically saves 7 litres of diesel for me, and saves 7*94 = Rs 658 for me. Out of which i give Rs 375 as toll, which gives net savings of Rs 283 per trip. Also, it saves 3hours-40 mins which is 2 hours 20 mins
i don''t know what you own because a normal diesel car which gives 10 km per litre in bumber to bumper trafic gives 20 kmpl on such highways.. so maths will be more reduced costs..

This project was final when congress was in power.. They just completed the remaining work for which they took soo many years.. Have a look on new mumbai metro people had waited 13-14 years for this project to complete.. Even look at the coastal road project, it was final in 2011-2012 and work is still going on, just increasing the budget and taking lots of tax from middle class people, just look at the new traffic police fine chart.. They have increase the fine too...
