That's right, take a deep breath everyone.. It's kinda hard constantly hitting the refresh button, but i'm sure someday he will post 13. I'm trying to hold all this popcorn but i'm failing miserably. Discord technically almost killed himself to make Fluttershy feel comfortable. That shows how much he really cares about her and wants her to be happy. Also seeing Discord cosplay as Flutershy makes me want to see Fluttershy cosplay as him.

I find it interesting that Discord was dressed up like Mr. Rogers, and the big moral of the episode is based on what Mr. Rogers said at the end of each episode. "I like you just the way you are, by just your being you."

I swear this episode was to fully support the Fluttercord ship, lol. Because that's what it feels like. Discord was just so sweet trying to make things comfortable for Fluttershy, and Fluttershy was just as sweet trying to make things go back to normal; she even had similar ideas that he had. Staircase that goes nowhere, tea that sing. That's just great. I also loved the lesson, so sweet! This whole entire episode was just a giant sweet filled upside down cake full of sprinkles and frosting. Just oh my gosh! So sweet. I shipped it before, but I ship it even harder now. But even without the ship their friendship is adorable! Love it so much. Great reaction and can't wait for more! XD.

Apart from the moment when Discord attempts to be normal, I think this was the episode where he was more chaotic and I loved it! I also really liked the twist of Fluttershy liking his chaos.The ship is real!

Such an adorable episode. Also it was really interesting to see that Discord is actually kinda different when it's just him and Fluttershy, makes sense since she's definitely the one he considers his closest friend.

I noticed. In my mind, I was writing a story, of how he actually died. I write at Wattpad, now I have more ideas for my Fluttercord Story! (I'm German, I'm not that good at writing in Englisch. Sorry) I was so afraid, even if I knew, he wouldn't die (This is MLP after all). And Fluttershy and Discord are really sweet together!

To be fair, Discord WAS awakened from being a statue because of the presence of conflict by the CMC, so Fluttershy being chaotic giving Discord power back isn't farfetched.

Implausible. So much time has passed since that episode that he would be dead by now (even if "chaotic chocolate rain" provided him with water, it is unlikely he could sustain himself for so long just on that without stains on his clothes.
-> He was just trying to deliver some new mail to Discord [maybe missing it would be important later]; or perhaps it was the formal invitation to the "Pink Hearts of Courage" ceremony from the S7 opener (or even an emergency letter sent by Sunburst from the S6 finale! xD).

This is the best Discord episode because finally he is completely innocent here. He just wanted to make Fluttershy happy and this is so beautiful.
Something about the ending scene; Fluttershy and Discord upside down with the singing jinsein, really triggered the feels for me.
Discord's fear resonated in me so hard it shook tears out of me.

He was constantly telling Big Mac to just give on Sugar Belle, because he thought love isn't real...even though he broke Sugar Belle's wheel to help Big Mac catch up to her, he only did it because He was helping Big Mac, because he saw Big Mac upset and decided to respect Big Mac's love for Sugar Belle, but he still says he doesn't believe in Love, and instead ask Spike to join him in O&O, also reminding him that Skelenor was not real, breaking Spike's small crush on her. He also would just perfer to be Fluttershy's Friend anyway...

This episode is wacky, what would I expect from Discord! Even in the comics, there is a downside when he becomes normal. That whole thing with Discord acting normal and vanishing from existence from lack of being chaotic is a very interesting concept(I did not see that coming)!
It also proves once and for all that he is not a transformed Starswirl, but rather a true avatar/creature/spirit of chaos by itself.
Also that the comics are not canon. Since we know know what happens of Discord stops being chaotic.

Canon or not, the circumstances in the comics were different. In the comics, he was transformed into a being of pure order against his will; there was still a small part of himself buried deep inside. Here, his change was under his own power.
Very much not, among other things, the utterly freaking idiotic bullshit about the Elements not being usable because "They won't stop anything orderly" bullshit, HARMONY, not 'order'. Also it references Reflections, which the comics themselves have retconned as being impossible in the first Legends of Magic book. Thankfully.

Honestly, I think there *should* be some sort of novelty tea section. One where you can get enchanted teas that have an unusual effect on the person drinking it. Novelty Rose-Hip Tea would be exactly as Discord described it, but Gensing Tea wouldn't sing itself so much as cause the pony drinking it to sing involuntarily. Chamomile could camouflage you while Jasmine causes jazz music to flow out of your ears. Ginger would turn your main red. Lemon makes you lemon scented. French Vanilla causes you to speak fluent French. If you drink a blend of Singing Gensing & Jazzmine (Jasmine), you'll specifically sing along to the jazz music. Or if you blend Singing Gensing with Française Vanilla (Fench Vanilla), you could very easily find yourself singing Frère Jacques or other Franch classics. Could be fun to use in pranks & I'd bet that Celestia & Luna would enjoy them too... Yes, I did put a lot of thought into this. Quiet.

Did everyone just forget to notice, that the other 4 discords, HAVE PHONES?
As a child I was a huge social butterfly. I was involved with everything and even took charge during play groups to make fun time more fun and structured. When I started kindergarten, I found my usual way of doing things was no longer appealing to my classmates and they started avoiding me. So I started letting others take charge. But I often found that what they wanted didn't always make sense and wasn't fun for me so I would end up trying to fix things only for the other kids to get mad and push me away. I eventually learned that, if I was going to have any friends, I needed to stop putting my ideas out there and just stay quiet and let the others do what they wanted. But the more I held back, the less happy I felt inside. I slowly became little more than a yes girl, always taking orders and never expressing any feelings or opinions other than what the group decided. If I ever slipped up, I was always scolded or broken up with. Being me was not a desired thing to be. So I changed myself however I could. I studied the other kids on the playground and their methods of interaction and built a false persona around common desireable passive traits that would let me slip into various groups. But then I'd slip up and I was back to square one. By fourth grade, all the kids at school had figured out what I was doing and I was no longer able to go anywhere or talk to anyone without getting mocked or rejected. So I had to change schools. I want to say I got better after that but all I did was make a new persona for me to work with and, to my delight, it actually worked. It worked well enough that small mistakes didn't mean immediate expulsion from friendships anymore and I was able to make a few friends that became permanent, loving fixtures in my life. As I get older, I realize that everything I did in grade school was nearly pointless as I was merely making myself sad by forcing myself to be something I wasn't for people that never were going to appreciate my efforts. I entered adulthood not knowing who I was and what I believed or ever what would truly make me happy. I tried so hard to be someone that others would like but the people I was trying to impress weren't worth my time. The people who did come into my life and stayed did so because they saw what I was hiding and admired that about me. The me I had suppressed was the person truly worth knowing. I realize how cliche that sounds but childhood experience looked like it was going one way and adulthood reality ended up proving it wrong.
Wow, that's a powerful story. I can definitely empathize with that. It sounds like you've found some friends who like you for who you really are though, which is great!

2). What happened to the mailman guy that Discord threw in his dimension? LOL

2) Seems like he still flying in the caos dimensions as we can see him in the background when Discord "clones" entered to help (11:37) (ok, thats unreasonable... Someone in the answers of one comment of this video answered it in a pretty reasonably way but it would be too much trouble transcribe that to here, sorry)
i always loved Fluttershy, but she was so adorable when trying bring chaos back.
I'm not sure why but the singing ginseng tea bags were one of my favorite parts of this episode, this was a really enjoyable episode, I can't wait to see your reaction to the next one

Ya know, this was a really great episode! It was funny, had Discord in it, explained a bit about the characters, and had Discord in it! (Also, this is a really great episode for the Fluttershy/Discord shippers such as myself)
Although, I have to say, wouldn't it make more sense for Discord's house to be more 'normal' like how it was in this episode? I mean, Discord is a spirit of Chaos, so wouldn't it fit him to have a house that is not chaotic, as a way to subvert expectations; after all, wouldn't it seem a bit too 'normal' for a spirit of chaos to have a chaotic house?

Loved this reaction as always! I don't usually especially break down over the d'aww and adorable in this show as much as I do enjoy it, but this episode was too freaking much for me there. XD Also, I gave my GG to Celestiacord in the S6 finale as I watched it sail off into forgotten waters, but this episode really raised the mast of Fluttercord and put a torpedo in the hull of all contenders. XD As much as I have my ships I like I normally try to avoid getting into shipping drama but there are some times when you just can't ignore it. XD
That said I think Discord and Fluttershy are freaking adorable and awesome just as best friends too.

"why do I get the feeling this is actually a very bad thing?" it is because Discord is a being of chaos, he can't survive on order. no form of anarchy = no Discord.
Short and rambly for your commentary, but it fits. There really wasn't a WHOLE lot to get into because the story was very much about just having fun with watching Discord being Discord and letting John and the Animators just enjoy going nuts.
I love they made the tea pony have a British sounding accent.
And yeah Fluttershy loving to be around Discord BECAUSE of all his insanity fits and just,it's amazing to see how much Discord has changed. Yeah he wasn't really NICE to the ponies, but not really mean either,m just kind of grumpy and short, but also, they weren't scared of him or anything, just treating him like a regular costumer, it shows how far things have come.
Just all around, a hilarious ep that really makes full use of a Spirit of Chaos, while still having some feels and some great lessons, MLP at (nearly) it's best. It's best.... well... hopefully see your reaction to that tonight. Great reaction and rather spot on thoughts afterwards, it is great how the show does show.. not all friends are friends in the same way, or the same reason, and just, SO GOOD!

I love this episode, but one thing I don't understand. On two separate occasions we've seen Discord completely without magic: when Tirek stole it, and when it was being absorbed by Chrysalis' throne. Both of those situations would lead me to believe that he's actually a normal flesh and blood creature that just possesses vast amounts of god-tier magic that is unique to him. But in this episode he acts like some type of spirit or elemental or whatever. The one explanation I could see would be that this side effect comes with the magic, kinda like in Aladdin being trapped in the lamp comes with being a genie. So, like, when all the magic is in him, it overtakes all the normal laws of how a physical body would act.
Or maybe he just pretended to get Fluttershy to take charge in an extremely adorable way. :X
