Still have (and use my 880EX) to this day even though I have Cubase and workstation keyboards (they're handy too). There's just something about direct inputs, knobs and sliders to keep you from getting bogged down in clicking through menus.
I remember buying the original in 1997. The FX card was optional. I paid about 2500$ after tax w Fx card and an update that came in a Zip disk. Crazy how far music tech has come along. Learned a lot with this little sucker. Good times!!

I used to own this baby in my home studio back when it was new. Great times! but I hated the CD burning process.
