    I am a retired high voltage electrician. Some electrical tapes stretch and some do not. 3M +33 tape is designed to stretch 50% and be double lapped, to keep out moisture. That tape is a lineman's tape. Stay away from economy tapes of all brands, because they are not engineered to stretch and half lap. +33 will cost about $5 and is available at most big box stores.

    Thank you for beautiful & factual video information about grafting.
    I have one question. In this video at video time 03:05, the size of scion is approximately 3inch (7.62cm). I wonder if such an old / large scion can be grafted successfully? Please elaborate & share your experience about such big size scion grafting.

      Yes! Bark grafting can be done on a really thick branch or even trunk…as long as it’s the r right time of year and the bark is slipping 😊

    I would have sealed the Rootstock. Help prevent water loss, and prevent bugs getting into the tree
