Who works with Beck on his mechanics, timing, etc? I'm asking because the last time I recall WR play being this sloppy and QB mechanics and timing being this bad, it was 2019 and James Coley was in charge of it. Coley is back now as WR coach and the WR play is sloppy as hell. Is he working with Beck at all on the side? Who is responsible for working with Beck?
@@SoSickRick to be honest, I blame every offensive coach. They need new and better coaches on the offensive side of the ball. Everyone has regressed on the offensive side of the ball. If I’m seeing the same mistakes week after week, I’m going to start looking at the coaches.
Beck needs a better QB coach. The whole offense has regressed under Bobo. Not blaming Bobo for everything but I’m just saying. Plus, James Coley is part of it. Lovett was electric at Mizzou. Lovett comes to Georgia and becomes mediocre.
Kirby Smart failed in his job as coach by not pulling Carson Beck in the second half. He was bailed out by the muffed Florida field goal and the injury to the Florida QB. I hope he used this as a learning opportunity. Trusting to luck is not a reliable way to win games.
I really think think that Carson is having Delusions of Grandeur. After all the hype about his play last year, projecting him as the 1st pick in the draft, etc. I think he really believes that he can fit the ball in any situation, even when the receiver is covered by 3 defenders and he makes really bad decisions. Doesn't seem to have any concept of throwing with touch.
kinda seems like he's making his mind before the snap on a lot of these plays and not really checking down when it's open for easy first day or looking for the next WR... Still a Beck believer! Go Dawgs!
Carson is spooked by the idea of pressure. Notice how many ints were him panicking on a well or at worst decently protected pocket. A lot of times he's running into pressure he creates for himself by running instead of staying in the pocket. For an elite scrambling QB that's OK, but Carson isn't that. He can't be afraid to maybe get hit in the pocket but tha's what it seems like to me
I’ll completely disagree on the shot on 3rd down, if it’s complete you’re talking about how great a throw and play call to take a shot on 3rd and medium when you have the possibility to go for it.
I wonder if he's thinking about how far his draft stock has fallen, and he's trying to bring it back up with "spectacular" throws that aren't necessary? The Lambo . . . the jet commercial . . . the glitz . . . maybe he's thinking he has to be superman to get his value back up?
No need to wonder, that's Exactly what is going on...he even said it "I was feeling like the man" ...Stetson was a little cocky, but he didn't really ever say stuff like that
There’s a reason why Beck lost out to Stetson when JT Daniel’s was unavailable. And thank God he sucked then, because we at least got 2 Nattys because Bennett played. Kirby says that we want to recruit guys who love football and who embrace the selfless role. Time for Carson to do that. He should step down, and maybe out. Be selfless for the good of the team.
You want consistent play from your QB but Beck's play has become consistently bad. He has two or three good passes each game as well as two or three interceptions. The rest is a collection of screen passes. This is not a desired result from a good QB, much less an elite QB.

The whole offense regressed under Bobo and Coley
@@elroco4827you guys blame the wrong group OL play has been as bad as year 1 under Smart, they can pass block decently well but can not run block.

Brent should be the QB coach at UGA.
Thanks! But those guys have forgotten more football than most will ever know.

I think the hype just has him trying too hard & it's causing him to lose his game management fundamentals
I think the OL play has him playing out of time when he’s on time he’s as good as ever. He also has the most yardage lost on drops.
Brent, great insight….do you get an opportunity to share with the Georgia staff?
Maybe
He sees ghosts. Who y’a gonna call? Ghostbusters! Cue music.

So if Beck doesn't throw those 2 interceptions we win 61-10, instead we only won 34-20. I don't understand why everyone is so critical.

Is he really the fastest on the team? #11?
It'd be an awesome race! I'm pretty sure both have posted sub 10.4 100m times.

on the second INT, it costed us our RB1 too. Dirty gator.

Beck is a timing passer when his off time and not throwing away, he’s forcing it somewhere.

Why does Cash remind me of Ryan Brewer?
Sounds good but his Miami girlfriend has got his mind into mush he was not like this last year
Agreed! Thankfully Miami basketball starts today! ☺️
What happens is hes forcing it and because we hardly run the ball defenses are playing the pass more than the run and its making it really hard
Beck is just not that good. His attitude and leadership is awful. He's below average and will end our season.against Ole Miss.
Dane goes back and forth too much on the replay.
