For anyone looking for an update on these two; they are both still alive & we last saw them on the plane of Thunder Junction. After the Phyrexians were defeated, Omenpaths started to appear on almost every plane... well, when one appeared on Innistrad, Geralf decided to enter it as an experiment & Gisa followed him. When Ludevic found out about his apprentice entering the portal & not returning, he sent Kraum (Who is Ludevic's strongest Skaab) through the portal to keep an eye on him. All three characters have new legendary creature cards in the set named "Outlaws of Thunder Junction"
Yesterday was the first time I played Magic in 20 years. I selected the Grave Danger precon deck and man what a blast! Then I just found this lore video and it has got me more hyped than ever to play this deck tomorrow. I had absolutely ZERO prior knowledge and yet you've provided an incredible amount of context. Thanks for your hard work!
this sibling story is very interesting, 2 Insane sibling love each other dearly and bickering all the time about who are better at Necromancy and the whole town paid for it , its a very good story hey maybe someone can make a movie out of it
A set of rules Geralf concocted in order to facilitate a sense of order and prestige during his battles with Gisa. Initially there were five rules: 1 -No spontaneous awakenings. 2 - No luring, killing, and raising of bystanders or livestock. 3 -Combatants face off at a predetermined place and time. 4 - Combatants must have at least three limbs to play. 5 - Headquarters are off-limits. He later added a sixth rule, 'no magic swords'. Gisa, for her part, ignored them all.

We know Gisa is alive as she has a card in Midnight Hunt, not sure about Geralf but I am sure he is alive as he and Luduvic are Bros
Gisa and geralf was my first and only comander deck and are now my favourite magic characters
