With all of the upgrades that you have done I'd swear that you are intending to do speed runs with your Slash. You are aware of the Slash being so versatile that many in the US use it as a GT AWD platform and propel them to speeds in upwards o150plus MPH. Great UPDATE series

i also used some CPU heatsink thermal paste to help move heat to the heatsink.

Are there no screws holding the heat sink on? What’s stopping it from flying off while bashing?
It actually kinda clamps around the motor, if it doesn't tightly enough just gently and careful squeeze the clamp closer together and it'll make a tighter fit.
How do you put a fan on the motor of the 4x4 slash that has the link because those have a strap in the middle of the motor holding a sensor for it to work... so... how do you put a fan on that one?
Would you happen to have the part number for that heat sink& cooling fans setup??

What millimeter is that heatsink I'm trying to get one off Amazon but I'm not sure what millimeter the electric motor is I have a Traxxas Hoss

how does the heatsink stay in place by only clipping it onto the motor? if you crash it must come off or at least get twisted very easily, right?

A heat sink is all thats needed on the new 4 poles, twin fans will reduce run times!
Haven't noticed much difference TBH, but I'm still looking to pick up a higher MaH LiPo.....
0.2A so 0.4A is nothing. To a broken motor
Would rotating the motor to make the fan fit. Damage the motor?
in what episode did they rotate the motor?
Why not plug it into the plug on the esc?

There gonna break first bash session though trust me.
how come the light is red when he powers on the car?
Red light is for nimh batteries green light is for lipo to change between just hold the button on start up untill the light changes

Don't do it..few jumps and rough tumbles or crash (you know rc norms) fans gonna break away from the housing. And the way their wired.. good look fixing it.

I installed it the same way
and same Fan
but my servo gets underpowered, and eventually cut power completely when i’m using the fan.

These heatsinks are sold by just about every no name Chinese company and they all do the exact same thing. They fall off the motor once it heats up lol. The aluminum from these is so poor that any heat makes it soften up and come off. The fans don't even move enough air to make any real difference and the surface area actually contacting the motor is way too small. Save your money people and buy something better!
😂😂😂 that is only makeup I do to many things and still get problem with overheating,drive 3min and wait 5min to ride
Again, 3s this system is garbage.i have Maxx wide 4s stock and I never have problem with overheating this rustler is garbage and I must sell it I don’t want to spand 200$ more to replace other system,for that much I can buy another vehicle
