- The government is at it again.. "trying" to help and somehow they ruin it for everyone. The reptile lights are about to get a whole lot harder to get a hold of.

Great info
Thanks!
You got my signature for sure I got like 2 years worth of supplies I don't no what I would do without my dragons they are one thing that puts a smile on my face
My face as well! Been keeping them for 13 years now.
Thoughts on grow lights for plants being used? 🤔
They don't emit the right UV for reptiles.
You said it. “ if they can’t take our animals they’ll take our equipment necessary to keep them” it’s sad but they’re coming for us dog.
It's crazy how they target groups that are just minding their own business..
@@qbstailsnscales it’s like they hate small business nowadays. Or anything not the “Norm”. I thought it was only going to be heat lamps that were affected and I stockpile those . I didn’t know it was uvb also now I. In a rush to get t5 bulbs . 😭
@@NewYorkBeardedDragons it seems that they confirmed that it's only certain UVB bulbs so we may be in luck for now.
@@qbstailsnscales 🤞
And the lights are more like 60% off.. I knew it was bad news as I still grabbed 4 extra 😅 but yeah, outdoor enclosure business may begin to skyrocket but man, what about the cold states where heating is necessary outside in most parts of the year? Basically killing off hundreds of thousands of pets over time
They're doing something.. idk what's gonna be the outcome of the negotiations lol
Here comes the overpricing..
Yea the people that bought 100s of them
@@qbstailsnscales well that too but I think even the optimal outcome is grim.. Let's say they do fight back legally and win, well now the consumer will have to pay the price in some way having to purchase what will likely end up being labeled a specialty light along with the fact that fighting essentially the government won't be cheap for these companies either. Each company will likely have to reach deals to attain the label of specialty lighting individually as well because it seems like something that would be permit based if it does get to continue manufacturing and distribution. So it's one of those things where if you thought the "Reptile" label made equipment more expensive before, which it definitely did, it's going to be even worse now.. I guarantee they still turned profit off of selling at 60% off too, which is the craziest part of all of this too.. It's a hiccup for them for sure, but nobody is going to sanction killing off millions of captive animals, even if it's over a chunk of time.. So they'll find a way to work out a deal.. Just comes off as an eventual mark up tactic to me
@@mr.aNdErsOn88 very true
I think its all about government control. People wont be able to keep baby chickens either it sounds like which gives them control over people depending on their own food supply.
That is a good observation..
