HEY Y'ALL, here's the link to the full uncut version on my 2nd channel: th-cam.com/video/IyU0tts36Uc/w-d-xo.html Just in case you missed the ending of the video, wanted to say thank you for 100k subs!!!!! School starts again in a few days I hope y'all had a great summer. I got a few more offers/interviews for my next internship, I'll talk about them, the process and salaries in a future video. I hope you are progressing in the direction you want to as well, good luck to us all :D ❤️
i loved how you had these explanations in the middle of the sentences and how it was all direct and no nonsense. when i ask anyone what they do in their jobs they always act smart and vague and your no bullshit attitude was refreshing
I feel this guy. He does not want to reveal his projects because IoT ideas are easy to imitate and exploit. And the worst part is that anyone can do it cheaper, some people can even design their own micro controller. I remember only using a cheap esp8266 to create home server and security system with some sensors.
Hey just wanna thank u for this interview! I’m kinda interested in doing my own startups and great insights from xinchi! Cool topic on the tech side and iot stuffs! Can’t wait to have more of these fun fun interviews 😆 very cool on what he’s doing. RESPECT BROOO - love from the engineering gang ❤️
good stream!! thanks for uploading. also hi from zumi! wish i could be in more streams but college is starting up, and as a member of engineering gang, i have basically no time on my hands :O maybe ill pop in for some of the study streams
He is a coder He is a comedian He doesn't write code, he codes comedy. I'm so happy I am with him from the start of his TH-cam journey cuz this channel will blow up in the future. ❤️
I like how Frying Pan has dumbed down a lot of the concepts and jobs that the guest does. Otherwise I'd be clueless about the whole interview. much appreciated 👍🏿
I don't know why I'm here. This is so far from my field of expertise; I teach languages for a living. It's interesting to listen and learn from people outside of my field.
What was the reason for shutdown? I can imagine lots of challenges, mostly in regards to substantial funding needed to get off the ground in the first place, post installation support/maintance replacing faulty sensors, lots of configuration to do for each specific crop etc.. not to mention having to pitch to a pretty tech averse crowd (at least in my country)
Nothing like sending an email for a recruiter saying "Thank you for job offer. I have made sure to keep it in my data. Unfortunately, we will not be moving on with the application..."
@@FryingPan damn had no clue on that one ngl. Also ive seen many CS ytbers say that they first learnt java/ C++ / C but after that they learnt python which was easy for them due to similarities. Does it work the other way round as well? im nearing the end of my high school and have mainly learnt python only as of now.
@@srujanbhirud6857 Yes I learned Java before Python too. Knowing any kind of programming language will make it easier to learn the next one. I think it's easier to go from Java > Python but the other way around isn't that much harder either, make sure u understand the difference between dynamically typed and statically typed languages.
Don't compare salary only with numbers lol. In China, you only pay 1aud- for a can of coke from any shops including retailers, restaurants etc. I dono about US, but in au we usually pay 3.5aud+ from shops and restaurants. From this perspective, on the same level the chinese pay is about 6500 / 5 (curreny convert) * 3.5 * 12 = 54,600aud per annual, which is right about a startup salary for a junior dev here. Of course this isn't a proper example, but you get what I mean
Do you know if Xinchi is hiring for any positions on his team? Would be very interested in contributing and helping. Not looking for any type of compensation that exceeds just living expenses or if not possible than that's fine as well.
One thing is the mic. The over-ear headphones are great but they typically have the big built-in microphone sticking out which, if you use a separate microphone (Blue Snowball) then it just gets in the way. In-ear you have the mic but it's in the cable, nice and tidy. 🙂
Hi man this is really good content, but for the interview it would be great to send some questions that you will do in advance to the guest (like Who are you? Present yourself, professional background, hobbies)... Maybe you did and I'm beeing redundant here sorry.

instead of being rejected...he rejects them how the tables turn

This dude must have a guinness world record of rejecting
He'll have a career as a youtuber. As a microsoft rejecter, as an Apple rejector.
@@coofzilla hell yeah 😂
@@coofzilla That's giving me techlead vibes.
But he's a co-founder right? So he can actually get crazy rich if this company succeeds
And you also have for most wrong word.
The only difference between me and him is:
He rejects FAANG.
FAANG rejects me.

14:26 i dont get this, why is VS Code bad? any flaw in that or something?
It's only a text editor
I'm not sure either since I'm not a C programmer, perhaps VSCode is not popular among C devs lol

He only had a design question where he had to explain the whole stack of a well known streaming service
