I can recall seeing the coupés new, and they created quite a stir - very different to the usual sort of English cars around at the time. Some made it here. There was one of the coupés parked just outside our local shopping centre a few years ago, and I've seen one parked alongside Lake George also (I recently commented about that one on another thread and had a response from the owner). They were meant to look like the cars being sold in the US at the time, with the hope of gaining much needed US dollars for the UK. I doubt that many were sold in the US.
