At 2:20, the caption says "research such as pears and fast ..." Is that correct? What kind of research is pears (or pairs) and fast?

    People: Stereotypes are bad
Also people: "Well yeah we do that of course, we're *enter cultural specific here*, thats what we do"

Stereotypes often lead to misunderstanding or misinterpretation, you can judge a book by its cover. What you see or might assume is not all there is most of the time.

If culture is powerful in shaping our communication, then stereotypes is very powerful in sharping our attitudes and beliefs towards other cultures.

    VERY nice video.
It got me to think and left me thinking.
I just can't understand why the world ignore contradictions yet they can exaggerate what stereotypes. People should start thinking out of their BOXES.

Sees street interviews of Americans... *facepalms*
I hope to god that was the minority. Here, I'm an American: UGANDA, in my opinion neither won the Vietnam war, 3 sides (omfg), pounds £. To be honest I've never heard of the coalition of the willing though :/

It was a group of countries that actively participated or agreed with the invasion of Iraq... it was a remark made by George W. Bush. Essentially its like NATO and a majority of western European countries
