Hiiii...I saw Kristen Kay use that farmhouse dixie belle transfers as well and they are totally worth the money! The stacked animal diy was my favorite love the thick border around the wood piece! Really makes it look super expensive!

Try dollar tree super glue wood glue in the home repair section. Like with the command hooks, paint rollers and such. It takes 24 hours to dry solid, but its workable in 10-15 min. It works awesome on wood! E6000 and regular super glue just soak in to wood.

Love that you build a lot of your projects/frames from scratch - that green color is the bomb! Very close to the pantone color of the year. Your projects are always neat and clean & you don't go over the top distressing the wood which I like as well. Tip - the wood glue from DT works very well. Give it a try versus E6000.

Super sweet! Can someone please tell me why some wood pieces stick together with wood glue and not others?? I can't seem to find the right glue and I agree with you that Hot glue doesn't really do the trick either. So you have to reinforce with sticks in the back. E3000, Gorilla Glue, Elmers wood glue, Crazy Glue. I've tried them all. I'm trying to glue several popsicle sticks together to make a fairy garden table. Sure hope someone has an idea.

Hi Liz I follow all your videos and love your crafting. I'm surprised you don't use wood glue with a bit of super glue in your wood projects. also wood clamps are great. I feel it gives a great hold for longevity. Just wondering...Thank you!! 😊

One thing I’d like to mention, it’s difficult to watch your videos when you ramp up the speed in between the steps of each project. For people, like me, who experience issues with fast motion, the result could be headaches, migraines, vertigo, it’s tough to enjoy watching what you do. I thought I’d put it out there so everyone could be included & be inspired by your work.

They were just square dowels in a pack by all of the dowels. 1/4 inch, 12 inches long. I think they came in a pack of 12

What is the wax generally used for?
This is what it says on their website "Protects Chalk Transfers from raw surfaces and creates a smoother and more even pasting experience for indicated Chalk Couture™ surfaces and non-Chalk Couture surfaces. Use a lint-free cloth to apply to the surface, testing a small area first."
Any imperfections done with the rub on stickers is automatic distressing it's a crafting law lol 😆 no one will even mention it at least that's what I tell my ocd self 😉

When you use the word transfer.. do you mean stencil?
Chalk Couture calls their stencils transfers, but yes, they are essentially the same thing.
