Rich, Aimee did a fantastic job with the camera! The small birds are starting to grow on me. Not really looked at the ones from FMS till now. I wouldn't have done that with those people there, to be honest. Nice flight, though and I'm surprised those tiny wheels handled the grass.

One strategy when using a cell phone camera filming an rc plane in flight. I do not use the phone screen to spot the plane. Instead I use the top outer center edge of the cell phone screen (in the horizontal position)where I position the flying plane at all times. So you’re seeing the plane in person sitting on top of the phone edge near or far as oppose to using the screen where it’s virtually impossible to see the plane long distance. It works perfectly for me. Just sharing.

How likely is it to break the prop in a belly landing with this Mustang? (I have just got the red tail version, and installed the Reflex gyro).
It's probably likely that you may break a prop here or there... But if you landed in thicker grass there's less of a chance... Always try to glide it in and land it power off so the prop is not turning:)

It's very hard to film with a Phone. ..
If I do that I tell the pilot to not go that far away... because if you can only almost see the plane on your phone, then it's still nothing to look at anyway... like here when you flying far away and we can only guess what's being done... so more of a pilot error than a videographer's error. So you did a greate work Amy😊👍

I was very interested in what you were saying about tightening up of the control surfaces. I have noticed before my crash, 750mm Volantex Mustang that the ailerons seemed to flop around, and I had a porposing effect in flight. That was with the old motor. I replaced it with a Racestar 2208 1100 KS engine with a 30amp esc . It's on an rtf receiver with a 2S battery. Very nice video, very informative and helpful. Hope to fly soon, looking for my bucket of nerves 😆
I miss mine 😢, I might purchase it again. I flew mine on 1300 3s they fly solid. I also put Dubro soft wheels on to help mitigate the bounce on landings. Did some weathering and minwax, lost it in wind and a dead battery. Imvsure it's hanging in a tree somewhere lol.

Hey Rich, after watching you video I went over my 750mm Mustang again. I can see the ailerons fluttering when I'm in intermediate mode, as well as safe under power. When it's in expert, there is no flutter, any suggestions? I appreciate your channel and time.
Mostly be sure there's no play in the controls & the hinges are good.
@@RCINFORMER I did notice when I put it in expert mode there was no flutter. I failed to mention that I'm flying a rtf controller with no expo. Thank you.
