Do you not consider amphetamines as "highly dangerous or highly addictive"? American military has been micro dosing troops since WW2 and American medical "professionals", and I use that term lightly, have been dosing children with amphetamines for atlas 50 years. Around 1995 or so I spent a year micro dosing psilocybin mushrooms. Not enough to get blasted but enough to lightly feel its effects and still maintain my daily routine. I do wish I had kept notes about the changes I experienced but they were all good at a micro dosing volume. It resolved some depression issues I had been wrestling with, it ended my dependence on alcohol and other drugs in order to face the day. It changed my entire outlook on life and the world around me and the results stuck with me when I finally stopped dosing. No withdrawals, no cravings I just stopped doing it one day because I felt my journey had run its course. I think that more people could benefit from this but legality probably stops them along with all the horror stories. I am not saying to go do it, but if you do and you keep it at a micro level you may see more positive change than you expect.

Psilocybin is very much an interesting drug, many say it opens doorways in your mind. Two things I experienced while on it.
I could access memories of events that happened in the distant past of my life, things that I had long forgotten about, it was astounding ! And, to my surprise, and my brother who was watching me, I stood in front of a full length mirror and I could access facial muscles that I never knew I had ! After about ten minutes of this, I had completely changed the actual shape of my forehead and eye lids, my brother was freaking out more than I was. All this is really not that surprising, because it gets neurons firing that are otherwise dormant, so yes, interesting things can happen with certain drugs. To me, Psilocybin was a very very interesting drug, because it allows the mind to operate in ways that are normally not available, the exploration of the self with this stuff was absolutely fascinating !

@shy404usernotfound Ego death happens quite often with LSD, so I’m sure a high dose of psilocybin could do the same, since both are 5-HT2A agonists which is what mediates their psychedelic effects. That terror gives you appreciation for being alive, but it doesn’t always work in a positive way for everyone.

L-Carnitine is absolutely safe to consume daily, your body also produces some which are mostly in your heart. It helps to keep your heart healthy and also to using fat as energy instead of muscle. Tartrate is best for pre-workout supply (20-25 mins before workout) and Acetate boost cognitive functions. Since it's full natural like Vitamin C and safe to consume (your body use max. 4 g/day, all above leave your body like for example B vitamins) these are my BFFs. Did he say that, or did he actually compare it to prior eye exams? The biggest issue with Nootropics is wanting them to work , then ending up biased. Not saying either of you is lying, just that it is very hard to really know without some heavy independent testing. A lot of the time it is just thinking it is working, leading to us spending more time studying new things, finding new hobbies, etc which lead to natural increases in neural capabilities, and we point to the nootropic rather than what we have been doing since taking them.
