Duffer you legend. The LOI has needed this so much. One of our own who could be coining it in Saudi doing it for the love of the game. You love to see it!
I been following the irish league for a while as an outsider. The irish league is getting better. However, I feel the league would be more attractive if the northern irish league teams would unite and create one big irish league. Im sure a new rivalry would emerge between Shamrock Rovers(best irish team) and Linfield(best northern irish team).
A phenomenal performance tonight by the boys, what a story it is considering we were in the first division only 3 seasons ago! Fair play to Duffer and the boys, love this club! Up the Shels!! ❤🔥
Been a Shels fan since '94, had the pleasure of actually playing in the league but unfortunately never with the Reds but Conan Byrne's presence of mind to name the massive Shels figureheads at the final whistle was absolutely superb
Crazy how the commentators never talked about that shels goal been offside because it looked well off and they hadnt even got the angle to see properly if it was off🤔🤣 and a goal that won them the league ha absolutely ridiculous but thats the league of ireland for you 😅😂
Definitely offside the linesman was either bad or biased ,had already let blatant offside play continue, free kicks for Shels that weren’t,not a fan of VAR but DC need it badly. DC played reasonably well with some really skilful and entertaining one touch football in the second half but couldn’t find a way through a well drilled and determined defensive set up the bedrock of any team that intends to win matches. They never really threatened to score so it was only going to be a problem of our own making that would provide the opportunity. I don’t know what they work on in training as I have never been, but for the last two seasons one of the plethora of problems is clearing our lines from our throw in’s ,lucky to get away with one just before half time ,and the goal eventually came from a passage of play from Shels after gaining possession from our throw in. In fairness to the manager we have had a lot of injuries ,don’t know how much you can apportion to the pitch ,but some players cannot play a season or the majority of it ,when you have a relatively small squad it can be devastating, i personally wouldn’t have signed Patrick on his history of playing with DC ,wouldn’t have signed Dialo and let Thompson go ,wouldn’t have signed Kelly. Winning becomes a habit so does losing as the confidence goes. Good luck to the team in the cup if they can get it together on the day they are more than capable of bringing the cup back to Foyleside
From a Fulham fan, well done Damien Duff. Good on ya. And congratulations Shelbourne, I hope you'll enjoy the whole weekend.
League of Ireland is on the up, this is the start of something great.
Yea I genuinely hope it keeps improving. I heard the fan attendances are way up, which is great
The standard has risen a lot, even the shape of the players has changed - no semi-pro chunkers in sight.
Félicitations shelboune vous méritez ce titre tellement bravo
Well done Shels. From a Cork City supporter.

Weĺl done, well deserved from a Waterford fan
A huge congrats to Sherbourne. Looking forward to seeing the "champions" at the "Cross" next season !!! 👏👏👏
One of the greatest things we can take from this is the younger players really stood up to the task
So if we can keep them the future looks great
Congratulations to Shelbourne from Dortmund.. you've well deserved that title! Go reds! ❤️🤍🖤💛

Шелберн с долгожданной победой!!!
From a city fan ,rather they win it than that lot .
Been a Shels fan since '94, had the pleasure of actually playing in the league but unfortunately never with the Reds but Conan Byrne's presence of mind to name the massive Shels figureheads at the final whistle was absolutely superb
Congratulations Shelburne well deserved
Champions!!!
I'm a shels fan. Chuffed. Actually mad ending to the league. Rovers almost won it. But this is storybook stuff. Magic
O árbitro tentou estragar a festa não dando pênalti claro, mais a festa tá durando até agora parabéns
Fucking brilliant
Congratulations to shelbourne 🤑
Looked offside to me but they should've had a penalty a few moments before and it wasn't given so, seems fair to me! Congrats to Shelbourne.
Brilliant shels refs are still a joke 😅
🎉🎉🎉🎉
How bad have Derry been btw ,finished 4th in a 2 horse race ,Higgins has to go whether they win cup or not
Shels! Shels are falling apart again!
Is the goal not a mile offside?
Already going on about next season. Ffs 🤦♂️ enjoy the moment now. Terrible commentary
To be fair though should that goal be offside? Congratulations shelbourne
Feel the non penalty offsets it myself but probably
Why don’t they merge with Scottish league

You do realise Shels had a major penalty shout just before that. Absolutely ludicrous for it not to be given when a player's foot is stamped on.
Well done Shels but the goal that won them the league was miles offside.
Up the pats
Why is the bloke on the bench wearing a Palestine hat?
