The team seems to be lacking energy right now, and it's clear that the 'system' play hasn't fully developed yet. Throughout the preseason games, we've caught a few glimpses of the potential this team has, especially with their quick transitions and puck movement along the boards leading up the top of the circles. However, they're not quite there yet. I'm optimistic that they're gaining valuable experience from these preseason matchups, and I hope this is just a preview of what we can expect as the season begins. Here's to hoping for the best! This was the last pre season game for the nhl team. Their off to Prague now with a horrible showing. Regardless of it being pre season and players are hurt they didn't show much and that's concerning..
Getting rid of fitz would be stupid he’s a smart GM stuff takes time and you’re not always able to make the changes you need right away without jeopardizing the future of the club

There are so many things wrong about how this season is starting between injuries and illness, and ghastly on ice play, that anyone with a brain should be at least a little worried. The fact that this was the last preseason game the mostly nhl roster that will play in actual games ,"that count" to put it in your words, should worry you. If it doesn't then you have blind optimism.
Listen this is only preseason and it's going to take time for the Devils to come around and gel.Yes the preseason was not good but now the real season starts and the true test begins.I have faith in the New Jersey Devils to turn this around.

Keefe rn is Lindy 2.0 hope he wakes up and be like damn maybe i do need to change some things and tweak my terrible system, but who knows, we will see on the 4th if keefe and company are better. PS Fitzy made the biggest mistake ever by keeping ROllie and taylor. its preseason but man this team is looks cooked.throw Meghan duggan on the staff im sure she would be better than Colliton.
Nhl roster ...did you even watch this game....tell us how the top line was a nhl roster...or how 1/3 of the defense was a nhl roster ...unless you think the utica players are gonna stay on the team after this insane travel they have to do to play the first 2 games ... ffs calm down ..its preseason

Long season ahead. All this delusional talk about winning the offseason. All Fitz did was bring in aging mediocre players. Markstrom is included in that. He's not that good. There will be no playoffs. Fitz will be fired at the end of the season. He should have been fired at the end of last year. He's the worst GM in the league.

Fitz did a terrible job over the summer. Small game hunting. Not a single star added. This team sucks.
