Convert a Metal Cabinet to a Sink Base | Long Version
Finding a metal cabinet that can accommodate a sink is difficult, if not impossible. This video will show you how the high level details of taking a metal base cabinet, specifically a garage cabinet, and show how you make the sink cut out, the cut out for the plumbing connections, and how to install it with a counter top.
Basic steps include:
1. Using a template to ensure you don’t have to buy a replacement cabinet or a replacement countertop.
2. Making the sink cut out from the cabinet using a pneumatic sheet metal nibbler.
3. Making a cut out for the plumbing connections in the back of the cabinet.
4. Making the sink cut out for in the countertop.
5. Assembling the sink and the cabinet with an installed countertop.
