Among the many things that should’ve been explored more in Gothic 3 is how the people of Varant and Nordmar feel about the Myrtanians and the fact that they conquered their countries not centuries before In Nordmar they just don’t care at all, they seem to be neutral towards the King’s Army. Yes they are also enemies of the orcs but certainly they should also be very hostile against the royal army too. Think about the Vikings (Nordmar) and the Saxons (Myrtana) , they could’ve been temporarily allies maybe few times but enemies at most. Particularly Varant shows some hatred towards King Rhobar II, well especially Zuben as Sultan of the country. But it was mostly Lee together with his paladins and soldiers who beat the armies of the Hashishins and Nomads most of the times. But this gets no mention basically at all in the game by anyone in the desert. So Lee should be even more hated than King Rhobar by the varantians In the continent everyone seems to hate or bothered by the orcs , except for the their human mercenaries , but even this is not very well explored as a theme , except with that conversation with Connor in Faring , but the motives is pretty bland and simple “we rebelled against the King because of few gold coins”? Clearly ALL the human factions of the Continent of Myrtana and beyond in the other provinces of the kingdoms hate each other and are in conflict , but also this is not very well explored or none at all in the game When I hear your music it is so beautiful that I could imagine a truly Gothic 3 without all these plot holes , unfortunately it remains all in my head and in my dreams . Who knows if we’ll ever be able to enjoy the true Gothic 3 that should’ve been and it wasn’t… :(
Если даже и будут делать ремастер/ремейк третьего готана, надеюсь что тебе и доверят работу над его саундтреком. Очень классно получается у тебя вдохнуть новую жизнь в музыку из старых игр, и тут не исключение.
What a lovely surprise! I was particularly broguht back to playing "Pharao - Queen of the Nile" years back, one of the OST tracks there was fairly reminiscent of this one: Pharaoh (1999) - Complete Soundtrack OST + Tracklist at 4:44 called "AMAKH" Perfect vibe for Varanty actually!
I hope there will be more covers from Gothic 3! This one sounds great. If you take any suggestions/requests from ur fans, I'd say "Ominous Woods at Night". Original is a bit too quiet. Surely you'd create much more melodic and dark one. Cheers!
Return of the King
