That’s basically the plot of P5 really. Akechi joins the revolution, and shuts the revolution down, only for the Phantom Thieves to bring it back, leaving Akechi in the dust.
So let me get this straight: akechi did a revolution, then he counter-revolutioned himself, then Makoto re-revolutioned him. Neither one of them played a joker into their revolutions. What are the odds of that happening, let alone the rounds of cards making that a possibility?

S-wo Lmao, I tried figuring out the exact probability, but it was just too much work, because in order for Makoto to counter the counter-revolution, she would need a revolution that's a higher number than what Akechi had.
Ann:"Akechi is a revolutionary, Akechi is a revolutionary, Akechi is a revolutionary! Are there any other revolutionaries I should know about?" *Makoto walks in*
Between this and the screwing over akechi in tycoon video I think it confirms the whole idea that akechi cheats in tycoon, but I think the reason they let akechi shuffle the deck is cause they know he won't win regardless
This video actually left me at a loss for words when all the revolutions kept happening. I wish I could play this game even if I could only play the different games in the Thief’s Den.
Speaking of revolutions. I once had a game where I revolutioned, then Yusuke counter revolutioned, and immediately after that, he counter counter revolutioned. Edit: NVM, Makoto revolutioning, then Morgana counter revolutioning, and then Ann revolutioning is more insane.
So I'm playing Tycoon while also listening to you play, and I may have just pulled off Akechi's most OP move. It's sad that I wasn't recording it, because I'm trash at this game and I'll probably never be able to replicate it lmao. Basically, I tempted fate on a serious game, and on the last round. I was kind of scared because everyone was down to like three and two cards, and I was the tycoon in the last two. I was down to an 8, a set of four, and a set of three with a Joker card (you probably know where I'm going with this), so I had nine cards in total left. I kept waiting and passing until finally I got Ann to put down a three. So I cut the round with my eight, started a revolution, and then literally countered my own revolution. 😂 It should have given me the Leaving a Mess challenge reward, but I'd completed a challenge in the last round, so I'm not sure if the game can recognize two in the same game?
