As an American living abroad (and registered independent voter, btw) for the last 6 years, I have not just heard or read about the deterioration of America's standing in the world, but have witnessed it. In the past, I have voted for both Republican and Democratic candidates for president, and have had a difficult year deciding whom to support in '08. No longer. Obama is our future. Make us proud, Barack!
