1/4 second area is my favorite for quicker moving water. Loved that shot! That second comp was awesome though, I love verticals and that shot lead you right through. Great vid man!
Thanks Paul! Yeah, 1/4 second is almost always my starting point then tweak it from there depending on waterflow etc. Thanks dude! That second photo is probably my fav from my vlogs so far!
Sometimes when I'm trying to be to much like everyone else instead of myself I struggle to connect up inside. You got it in the end anyhow - you're own voice that is. Nice pics. Mark
Cheers Nigel, I've chatted to Wye Explorer before on here, he knows my name, he's just signing off his comment with his own name here. Thanks for watching the video!
Really nice pic and video. All the best. I’m getting my very first camera which is happened to D750 but still I’m confused between D780/Z6ii. How long you been using D750? Is it still worth in 2021? To purchase?
Hi Shashidhar, thanks for watching! I've been using the D750 for 6 years, I think for photography it's a great camera and for the price you can now get one I think it's still worth it in 2021. However, if you were looking at using it for video as well then I think the D780/Z6ii have better features for video.
@@BlackKeyPhotography Ok thanks for recommendations, today I have borrowed D750 and D780 from Nikon to test and try to understand which suits me better. I will keep you posted my buy later next week.
@@BlackKeyPhotography sure I’ll so far testing is going on but d750 isn’t helping me much in terms of setting I’m finding difficulty to focus on from 50mm 1.4G lens... not sure it’s body or lens issues. D780 is handling pretty good.. trust me D750 giving nicer color looks of few product shot compare to d780.... I might be wrong setting I messed up. But overall D780 is works fine inside and outdoor shoot test. I know I’m using it as testing so setting is not my cup of tea that I understand better than.. evening I tried for product shoot I’m liking it 😀
Well it comes with me everywhere I go and I use it almost every time I'm out. So I like it for landscape photography! I think because it's a kit lens it gets overlooked a bit but it's actually a pretty good lens and very versatile. Great if you only wanted to take one lens with you or you're in conditions where it would be best not to change lenses. Optically it's good and the autofocus is fast. There's some image distortion in in the longer focal range but it's easily corrected in lightroom. It's tough as well, I've used it in some terrible conditions over the years and I've never had a problem with it.
Thanks Peter. I think I'm feeling a bit of added pressure at the moment, partly because I'd like some nice shots for the Vlog but also knowing that potentially at any point I might not be able to get out to these places again for a while because of lockdown etc, which is obviously the case now in Wales. So I'm a little bit more frustrated/disappointed while out on location than I normally would be if the day doesn't work out quite like I hoped. Although, that being said, I am pretty pleased with these photos! Thanks for watching and your comment! Regards Chris
@@BlackKeyPhotography I'm down in Cornwall so very lucky at the moment that we can still get out to take photographs. Hopefully nothing will spread down here over the holidays and vaccinations for all of us will come soon. My wife and I spent 3 weeks in Snowdonia last year but I reckon it will be at least autumn before normal travelling will be possible. Good luck in lockdown.
Yeah, fingers crossed things don't get worse for you down in Cornwall. I think this lockdown is going to last a while for us! Hope you get to enjoy Christmas as best as you can!
Great shots ..

Like the video, the image at 08:50 is excellent. Thanks

Sounds good! Enjoy your time testing them out! It'd be good to hear what you think after comparing the two of them!

@@BlackKeyPhotography tomorrow I’m traveling to some place to test how I take landscape photo over there 🤞🏻.
What lenses you used in this landscape photography?
For the first shot it was a Nikon 24-120mm f/4 and for the second shot a Nikon 18-35mm f/4.
@@BlackKeyPhotography 24-120 is a kit lens but how 's your rating & opinion about this lens specially for landscape photography.
