In season 3 he faces it directly, due to it threatening his new underwhelming but happy life, despite all the demons he has to face to really understand who he is.
This show is like Chinese version of Gintama. But not complain thought because done right with perfect backstory, character development, and perfect synergy with dark and humor.
I remember hearing this from my roommates room. I was like "yo, that's fire. What anime is that?" When he said scissor 7, I was like "the joke anime about singing dogs and virgins fighting nuclear warheads?" I couldn't believe the series became what it did after season 1.
Starts like a romantic song, turn into punjabi pop then a bit tragedy/scary vibe then rock finally gets too modern and in the end the musician gives a vibe check with his bass. This makes it #1 op in my list. Perfection.
I love this anime and when I mean love I mean I love it it’s so well done season 1 animation was kinda scrapy but i love the show for it’s weird unique style especially since it’s a Chinese anime usually Chinese anime has less rough and more clean look but scissor seven is on a whole different level (sorry about this dumb rant)
