I can relate to wanting to cross off & record tasks v. moving stickies. I keep a master household task list (I make my individual task checks there) and reference that list in my planner with a daily, one-line entry. I check that one-line entry off when I complete the off-planner list. If the off-site list is partially completed, or not at all ;), I note that in my planner next to the " complete Master Task List" entry. Hope that makes sense!
