Spectacular..great to see a video that isn’t geared to skinny Minnie’s..nothing wrong with that, but it gives you a better idea for fitting us larger sizes and by modeling it, you hit a home run…your videos are the best!

If you do a double crochet decrease in the last stitch and the connection stitch it will fill that gap and not mess with your stitch count. Love the top. Thanks for sharing your knowledge with us. ❤

Jennifer I made this top for a 8mo old little girl with super saver day glow yarn...she is so adorable in this pattern...I made a hexagon because my math failed me...60ch, with increases on every 10th ch. I could hear you say make it your own so I just kept crocheting. It fits her perfectly and the colors compliment her dark hair and olive skin tones perfectly. I am so thankful to have you in my life ❤ love your tutorials and you too.

I can totally relate to the way you do things. ❤️ So I had to edit this comment so I could tell you that when you said you love to see the alterations we make you caused me to be brave and I actually designed a pair of mittens for my grandson. I found a hat pattern but I couldn't find matching mittens so I created my own. Thank you so much for teaching me that it's okay to not be perfect and how easy it is to design something if you want to. Without watching your videos I never would have stepped outside my comfort zone and tried making my own pattern. I really appreciate your experience and help. ❤️

Please continue to do these easy tutorials, it’s the only way I can finish anything because most patterns are too hard for me. I taught myself watching TH-cam and then we adopted a 8 year old, a one year old and a seven day old so my crochet stopped for a couple years.

When I was a kid we lived in Louisiana and people don't have fences. We were right next to what amounts to a major highway in LA, I would climb the catalpa tree and just sit there or read a book. I read all the time then, and still do.

Dear Jen I am definitely making this top. I am starting today. I will be using the 3 weight Bloom in the color way Apricot Blossom. I am 2X to 3X. It will be a spring top or a poncho like top! We’ll see how it comes out
