Very cool. Marikit-na over on Maniwaya, Maranduque little more expensive and harder to get to but WOW. Worth it and worth the ride on the scary little boat.
They don’t have a restaurant here but a small kitchen offers breakfast and coffee/tea etc. there are restaurants all along the local beach you can walk to (barefoot) and have meals cooked. There are a few small Sari Sari stores nearby as well.
Film the ride in on the rocky coral path. Those spots look awesome but often are a nightmare getting too. Will the trikes go in to pick up/drop off people, or do they refuse ?

Nice for it's price! I miss a shower curtain to keep the water from wetting the toilet, but for that price ... what the heck! What's the distance to malls and restaurants and how about the availability of public transport for those of us who are not riding a bike?
Great question. Trikes are available in Panglao all day and thru the early evening. The resort has a dispatcher they can call one for you. It’s about 10-15 minutes trike ride from the central area of Alona Beach. Shower curtains are a luxury here 🤣 Just be thankful there is a toilet seat. But I’ll save that for another video 😜

It’s not as remote as you think, although it is quite a bit off the main road but only less than 15m from Panglao proper Tawala and Alona beach. There are a few really nice places to eat within walking distance. Also sari sari stores for drinks and a couple small restobars
As a seasoned intl traveler throughput SE Asia, this is a very good deal at $16 a night (900 php). Usually, the PI charges higher. I guess we are still in a bit of post co-vid, so tourism hasnt totally rebounded yet (if it ever will to the levels it was before).

I really like the beaches here at Panglao for relaxing. Alona beach can be very busy and touristy but this end of the beach is very chill. Yeah, these woman are crazy flexible 🤣
you mentioned motel 6 you can't find for less than 50.00 per night. California? 85 -145. a night. And the name comes from the original $6.00 per night....just as super 8 which was once 8 bucks a night. I absolutely love the prices there and if you are frugal you can live well there.

Excellent question! It’s a southern facing view so you get both sunrises and sunsets ☀️ The southern and west side of Panglao is my favorite for these reasons and the sunsets in Panglao are amazing.

Hate to be a Debbie downer, but the water quality around there was bogus. There was constantly some kind of scratchy sea weed covering the beach. Every morning they send a guy out there to rake it back but if you get 6 feet out into the water you’re gonna have to deal with it, also bring surf socks, they’re a must
