Route 66 on a Goldwing - The Dream Continues

One year later and the trip is back on. In September, some buddies and I are going to ride from the Washington, DC area to Chicago and then to Los Angeles via Rout 66 on motorcycles. We had planned this trip for last year, I bought a non-running 1994 Honda GL1500 Goldwing Aspencade for the trip, got it running and then wrecked it on one of my shakeout rides. This video is here to celebrate the power of TH-cam. An incredibly lovely, gracious, and generous couple who had viewed my videos reached out to me and offered to sell me their Goldwing so I can accomplish this trip.
This video talks about where my head was and how this incredible opportunity unfolded. I can't thank the previous owners enough for thoughtfulness and for offering a motorcycle that will make this dream a reality.
