Thanks for this tim, been playing the game for a couple weeks now and i still drop some combos with c-ries, heard f roa was a simple character and here i am! Big fan of your f warc btw, it looks really strong
I don't know if this works but try using this Reset: 5A>5B>2B>5C (1 Hit is optional) > 6C> 214A>6C>214A>236C>2C>6C>BE236B> Dash 5B > 2C > 6C > j.A>J. B>J.c > AT
This reset doesn't seem viable to me. If they air tech and land, mashing will beat the dash 5B. If they air tech and use air movement, they'll get away. It's probably better to go for hard down with 2C 6C 214A or just 2C after the 236C OTG, and then run a mix-up. Midscreen 236C will leave Roa same side after the wall slam, and 2C 6C 214A can be used to either leave space in the corner, or not depending on how late the 2C hits. Then BE236B can be used for a L/R 50/50. Corner 236C will put Roa in the corner after the wall slam, and ending with just 2C can set up a series of L/R 50/50s. The one I like to go for is a cross-up low/same side high mix-up preformed by jump canceling the 2C, then double jumping at max height of the 1st jump, then drifting forward by holding 6. Then it's the mix-up by either landing with 2A/2B/5B (all lows) or air back dashing back into the corner with a j.A/j.C.
It's fine. Just know that there is a gap before the 236B, and a gap after. Depending on how the opponent responds, I'd not use it all the time. The 236B in blockstrings is pretty predictable, and also reactable with practice. But if the opponent just blocks, or mashes, then it works fine. Eventually, the opponent will realize that once you use a C normal, you can only 236B (for a plus frame reset) or 214A/B (which after a C normal ends pressure and returns the game to neutral). Try to also use his other plus frame things in pressure. 2A 5B reset, 2A 5B 2B reset, 5B into 5B can work, 2A 2A 214A reset. All of those are things you can use to stay in longer, create frame traps, and allow for more risky things like resets into IAD.
@@ΔημήτρηςΤσαπραλης No they are not char specific. The just depend on how much max meter you have, since the combos at the end are all example IH combos.
It's not a game feature. The short answer is that I manually added them in. I used frame display to take still images. Then I used photoshop to scope out the sprites of the stills. Last, I overlaid them, frame by frame, over the game footage. Very tedious.
BE is a melty specific term. Blowback Edge. It just means charged version of a move by holding the button down. It's used in notation because doing [B] in the forums, which is the normal way to notate a charged B normal, will tag what follows to be bold instead of the correct notation. Example: F-VSion has a 5B and a 5[B] (or BE5B) Notation on the forums would be like 2AAA 5 2B 5C... where the 2B, 5C, and everything that followed would be bold. However, 2AAA 5[B] 2B 5C... was intended. So ppl would notate with 2AAA BE5B 2B 5C...
Yes. You don't see a lot of him because he is execution heavy. Tonberry put out a series of vids on him. You can find it here: playlist?list=PL44TGMNtTivHAb57DhpWyxWqYoDW_Ntx7
wicked song selection dude

Hey, glad you get some use out of this. Let me know if you have questions. Ill do my best to answer them.
Enjoy the melty blood.
@@XxTexasTimxX thanks a lot man, i'll let you know if i need help
Despite having little interest learning F-Roa, this video was very entertaining and well made my dude. Always useful to know tech too.
I'm glad ppl still find these useful. Thx.
Came for the tech, stayed for the music lol
Sick guide, very to the point but still got style
Very nice, wanted to learn F-Roa and this is perfect.
Glad ppl still find these useful. :) Happy training.
Great work man! Everything about this character is in this vid.
It'll be very helpful to all newbies and I like the song you used by the way.
:)
I like making these vids a lot.
Lots of fun.
Thanks for watching!

XxTexasTimxX alright thanks for the tip
XxTexasTimxX Is this a good block string: 2AAA > 2B > 5C (1 Hit) > 236B (No Feint)

I'm still trying to understand the significance of "Magic pants". Is it referring to the J236x?
lol no. Its that his pants are unbuttoned and unzipped, but they just always stay up.
How did you reveal the hit/collision boxes?
It's not a game feature. The short answer is that I manually added them in.

I just had to do it. ;)
what do you mean by BE? im still a newbie in MBAACC :)
BE is a melty specific term. Blowback Edge. It just means charged version of a move by holding the button down. It's used in notation because doing [B] in the forums, which is the normal way to notate a charged B normal, will tag what follows to be bold instead of the correct notation.

man does anyone use C-Roa

That doesn't link to anything :
It does for me. Weird. Search for 'How to be a Terrible Human Being' uploaded by a user 'TonberryMage'. I think Jordal also uploaded the series.
@@XxTexasTimxX What About H Roa?
Excellent presentation.
Thx. :)
