I will show you how to find what your Wi-Fi password is on a Windows 11 PC. This also works on all other versions of Windows, so if you forgot your Wi-Fi network password on your computer or laptop, then you can find it real easy.
netsh wlan show profiles name = "Your Key" key=clear | find "Key Content"

I've just learned of the Microsoft requirement to wipe your PC in a new Windows update on Windows 11 if you have upgraded from Windows 10 for a clean installation. This will enable better security features. A bit of a pain, though.

I started the WLAN AUTOCONFIG service on my Win 10 desktop PC which has no wifi card but does have a wifi dongle. I then ran the 'netsh wlan show profiles' command as you described but received this error message: "There is no wireless interface on the system". I know my router is broadcasting a wifi signal since my Android tablet, Alexa, and Win10 laptop do connect to it.
So why am I receiving this error from my desktop PC?
BTW, my desktop Windows SETTING only shows my ETHERNET connection, not WiFi, so I'm wondering: does Windows10 allow one or the other but not both?

How can I download windows 11 when it says I need to upgrade my CPU, my computer is 2nd or 3rd tiear (I think that's the term) I also have a laptop which is 2 years old and I can't change it on that either, many thanks for any help given
Was the title of this video purposely misleading? It should say any network you've previously connected to and only on your Windows PC, not imply any network in existence or with any device.

If you get the message: Wireless AutoConfig Service (wlansvc) is not running. You may have a none working/disabled' Wi-Fi adapter in your Laptop or PC. 🖖👍🏻
Hey so how do you fix it
In Brian's! video he showed the; Control Panel\Network and Internet\Network Connections. were all the network hardware is that's installed on your Laptop/PC if the adapters not showing, then you might have a dead adapter or messed up driver - software. Would make some very good & helpful! video content for Brian! to show fixes 👍🏻
What if you've forgotten the password to actually logon to the PC when you start up the PC? This could happen to people with memory problems like dementia even if they write it down they can forget on what item they wrote it down on.

Misleading title since it more accurately is NOT to any network, only the few previously accessed networks information stored on that computer and only if that security key has not been updated since the time your computer accessed it. You are only producing information from the computer's logs.
So just to check... It's not ANY wifi network, but any that you've successfully connected to in the past... ??

CDKey let me down Sent Windows 8.1 Pro. It did not work. Their online chat is absolutely terrible. Left me waiting for over 30 minutes. Another agent came on and said tech has gone home! Still left with a useless key. What?? I would NEVER ever buy from them again-Hopeless !!
You can still use the key, provided you use it while installing the OS rather than after the fact.

@@Britec09 i used the same 1 for everything since day 1 now they made me change that dont know any now without writing them all down funny the most secure thing needed is your bank pin which is 4 numbers only everyone else wants letters some capital some lower case numbers and symbols i just feel its a bit much i am poor with nothing to hide security not needed here
