Not every homes will be as festive as we imagined it to be this Christmas, some may be lonely, some are still in the midst of war, or poverty, or conflict within their own home, some are still pursuing their dreams which seems unachievable but keep their hopes up anyway, some are missing their departed loved ones, or maybe their estranged loved ones. Some are worried for their future next year wondering how the world moved on whilst their straits are yet to start. Whatever is causing our grief, I pray for love, peace and joy coming from above to descend in ours and your home this Christmas and beyond. What I learned in this life, whatever trials we face, we only need faith, hope, peace within and love to survive it. And I believe Jesus brought it with him on Christmas Day. So I pray the same hope, peace and love for those who need it most, and most of all I pray for what Jesus prayed in Gethsemane - for God’s kingdom to come and His will be done on earth as it is in heaven.
