Thanks for the upload, Cheetahs, breeding ground of SA rugby. Can anybody please explain what this competition this is and how it fits into URC and Champions Cup?
a wiki extract. Hope it helps: The Challenge Cup is currently contested between 18 teams; 16 of which qualify from the three main European domestic leagues (Premiership Rugby, Top 14, and United Rugby Championship). In 2023-24, two teams outside of the western Europe leagues[3] had been invited to participate in the tournament. The Cheetahs, a South African team who won the 2023 Currie Cup will play in the cup, using Amsterdam as their home base. Also, for the 2023-24 season, Georgia's Black Lion team will play in the cup, as holders of the third-tier Rugby Europe Super Cup.
EPCR Challenge Cup is the second tier "European" rugby cup (of course SA team compete as well). It is mostly an occasion for lower ranked teams like the Zebre 😁 to get some (additional) international experience, notably playing against French and English teams which does not happen in URC.
Well done Cheetas. Great idea to host the games in the Netherlands. Small Stadium but a full house it seems.
"Like a seagull on a chip" outstanding!
that first try had it all.
Well done cheetahs, what a comeback. And against a URC team at that too. Very nice, and gotta say that backline looks deadly in terms of speed
1:16 Oh My Days, Wat a Masterclass!!!

Also the winner of this Competition gets Automatic Qualification into the following year's Champions Cup
It's basically like the Rugby version of the Europa league in football
Micheal try and what a chase down🎉
Last Cheethas try is cleary irregular
3:58 how was that not a card??
How is it a card??🤔🤔🤔
Not the best game by the Cheetahs. The 10 needs to kick better and the whole team must up their skills.
Waow so a SA team can beat an Italian team.....in the bidet cup.
Don't forget that the Pope is Catholic.
