Can we just appreciate all of the smooth transition work this has? He pulled all of it off and slid into different moves/songs perfectly. Not to mention how perfectly aligned everything is. This was so good, and is by far one of my favorite fursuit dances in general. This was outstanding.
From a technical stand point I can see everyone's argument but I guess when it comes to judging from what I'm seeing when it comes to teriyaki vs strobes (and what I judge choreography on). they both move around the stage, they both know their music. they both have unique styles of dances. but what I see different is teriyaki had premade dances (the fortnite dances, which are funny in a meme way) and the rave shuffle is cool and idk how you do it. but my argument is strobes has different levels in his dance, yes they both used the whole stage but strobe did some high level and low levels (did that move going up on one leg, arm up high and onto his toes. and Swooping down into squats) and between both pieces I felt more planned choreography placed into strobes piece. One thing a lot of people forget to look for is: choreography goes all the way to down the toes. I cant remember which judge from a previous year brought it up (I think it was to one of Rinn's previous performances?) but feet/steps can also be controlled to a point that they add to the performance, each step and leg movement strobes did was on a beat adding to the choreography and flow to his dance. that's were most of my high marks come from. every move he has planned and practiced to get down perfectly with each beat to his song. idk They both are amazing and fun to watch but that's my two cents why I think strobe won this year.
Sorry but this dude was the only one with a routine. It was far better than the first or second which was a bunch of random shit...as everyone ever in furry dance. This dude is actually interesting and had fluid practiced movement

Teriyaki was very good, but a lot of his dance was already made up dances, like the Fortnite dances, which probably didn't help when it came to creativity and outstanding the judges with some whole new performance. Darkypup was honestly my favourite, but his dance consisted of only basically one style of dance, but heck was it good. It was a whole new thing I've never seen before, unlike a lot of the dances performed by Teriyaki. But Strobes, hell...he managed to put so many styles into just one dance. They were perfectly smooth and he NEVER stopped dancing, it just all came flowing. And if you looked carefully you could see all the little movements he was doing with his arms. The dance just flowed together like waterfall..
It annoys me a fuck ton whenever Strobes gets first. Like I get he has good body control and good control of the music.. but he didn't deserve to win this dance comp. (Sorry if this doesn't make any sense.. Low-key drunk when typing this.)

I feel like most kids should believe he should of gotten 1st place. But the judges aren’t kids so they see different things. They probably know the dances but they don’t look for popular dance things I guess. Just movements and how they act. I believe that he should of won 2nd place.
