Oooh, the willow 'fence' is going to look so beautiful when in full leaf swaying in the breeze. Ted is amazing with his driving/farm skills. You look gorgeous with or without makeup xx love to you all
Ted just loves driving about in big vehicles that can do other things than just getting from a-b. I’m so hopeful the willow screen will be beautiful and functional. Fingers crossed!
Hi Gayna! Thank you for a lovely video today! I enjoyed every minute watching you and the family again. You are so lovely and I just love the way you just get stuck in to all your chores! I think the willow hedge will be perfect and quite lovely! Take care all of you and thank you for a “proper lush” video! Love from WW xxx
Proper lush! Awwwww. Gotta throw yourself at the jobs or they don’t get done and I can’t bare the thought of having my home go to rack and ruin. I wish someone would do it for me though. Maybe one day I’ll master the low maintenance way.
Lovely podcast as always. You do make me smile. Thank you for showing how you make your beautiful quilts . I am going to have a go at an Irish Chain Quilt . X
Every family member I have (apart from my parents moved to Australia when I was young) live in Ireland so watching you makes me smile. The weather, the green grass, Ted on the tractor it’s all so lovely. Thanks for the joy 🥰
Have just come across your channel and very glad I did! I have lots of blue fabric and need inspiration and you’ve given it to me! So thankyou very much indeed. Xx
You are doing so well with the fundraising Gayna, keep going, those kids need you and your energy and enthusiasm, I have popped over and donated to this fabulous cause xxx
@@talesfromcuckooland don't ever feel guilty for advocating for those unable to do so for themselves, it is disgraceful that these children don't get the financial support they needs from the government. You are a great mum and exactly what the school needs. Anyone who can't see why you're doing this is not worth worrying about xxx
Lovely visit from you,,,On this wet spring morning,,,, So NICE!,,! Love that blues quilts,,,, and great way to frog the sweater!!! I always get tangled up if I try to unwind yarn! The willows planting looks so good!!! You work hard!!! Elaine🏡🏡🏡🏡
I get in such a muddle if I don’t anchor down my knitting to frog it. I love retrieving yarn to use again. It makes me feel thrifty. 🤩 My back is murder after so much digging, I’ve been digging and raking out there again today. I hate it but it will be worth it. X
Hi Gayna, thank you for another wonderful vlog. It's great to see you again. Your home and surroundings are gorgeous! You are such a beautiful soul, inside and out. Big hugs from me to you all 💕🤗
Thank you for the frogging method, I’ve not ever thought to do it that way. I just get my wool all tangled. I actually LOVE frogging items that I don’t wear. I would much prefer to frog and make something I’ll wear rather than have a knitted item sit forlornly in my closet knowing I’ll never wear it. It either will get donated or pulled out and done so with joy!
I don’t mind frogging at all. I don’t mind doing it mid project if I have made a mistake or unravelling a whole project to salvage the yarn. I think we are in the minority though.
Thank you Gayna that was a lovely podcast as always. Good luck with the fundraising Bill and his classmates deserve all good things xxx Great to see Ted out doing what he loves to do ! So glad you have had information from your recent blood tests and that you can make changes now. Look after yourself xxxxx❤️😘
I promise to look after myself, Ally, honest! I’m in the bath with Epsom salts right now. That means I have had 2 baths this year already and I usually only have 1.
Boiled Tongue 😂, looked flipping good to me. Loving the used shirt Irish Chain quilt, great idea, I’ll be raiding my husbands shirt drawer when I can 😍 👔 You looked so glamorous with your hair bow in. Dry stone walling, there are no ends to your talents 🤓 Still looking for the finished Silk Posy Myosotis dress 🤔
Yes, I've have the green screen pop up on several videos a few weeks ago. Must be a you tube thing! I really enjoy the sewing and gardening parts of your videos. Your garden was lovely last year. Happy spring😁
Love your eau naturel look! You did make me smile with your Vitamin test as we both know about my luscious locum and his exhaustive tests on me including all the Vitamins, I’ve learnt a lot over the last few weeks, hope your God daughter can put you right, I’ve increased my sardine uptake! Your will looks great x💕
Driving a tractor .......fabulous! Love your garden but waaaaay too much gardening for me. I am not fond of gardening but love that garden to look nice. Wish I was rich enough to hire help to do it even with our tiny garden.
Me too! I have really struggled with the garden for so many years and it has destroyed my enjoyment of it. I have a little help these days but I could do with a lot more as there is so much to do. It’s exhausting. I’m hoping the things I’m doing this year will make it easier from now on. X
It was so nice to catching up with you and spend a little time together 😊🥂 Thank you for taking the time and Vlog, I’m happy that you are feeling better xx 🙋🏻♀️ Oh, and about the blood... you can easily add some linseed or linseed oil to your meals. Maybe you can get them at your shop with unpacked goods? No need for long travelled chia seeds or overfished fish.
Thanks Gayna that was great. You are so busy but looks as if you have good fun 😅 sorry that I'm late to the party for the raffle! Do you still do Neals Yard? By the way I've seen green too o various vlogs. Weird..
Oh, Gayna, it's such fun to see your lovely face again. Well, your frogging method is new to me and it's fantastic. I wish I'd known of it last week when I frogged a mohair sweater. It was hellish, I tell you. Your blue and white quilt will be ever so beautiful. Of all the color combos in the world, light blue and white is my very fave. So fresh and delightful. How old is your rock wall do you suppose? I always enjoy the outdoor shots of your home. It looks sooo English and don't we all have romantic notions of lovely old romantic British homes?
I was struggling to unravel it as I had alternated skeins. I kept thinking I needed someone to hold it out for me and then it dawned on me that pinning it down would work. And it did! So I shared it. I always think everyone’s hikes and environment look good on film, it’s because we can’t see the cracks 🥰
I’m still waiting to plant our garden. We still get snow up into May here. I remember when Harald’s voice started to break. He’s 16 now and soon to be 17 in June. He went from having this lovely alto voice, to a tenor in about 3 weeks. Now he’s a good strong bass. Our nephew was about 4 or 5 and hadn’t seen Munchie( aka Harald) in a good month or 2. Haralds voice had changed and our nephew walked up to me and said.. Moster Kori( Moster is Swedish for Mothers sister) , Harald won’t stop talking funny. Make him stop , Make him stop please. “ I laughed for a good 10 minutes after that. Ted is getting so big! He is so lucky that he has already found his bliss. Most people go their whole lives not being able to do that. You and Toby have done a fantastic job raising your boys. That wall reminded me of the one my best friends Dad put in his yard. He’s from Nottingham. AND EVERY YEAR. He would send us all out to fill the cracks on the wall he had.
Ted’s voice is on the verge of breaking. I marvel at how the boys turn into men but it also breaks my heart. My little boys are big boys now, even my baby is double digits. I want to slow time down just a little. X
I think it’s just my measuring and cutting that’s a bit off because I’m trying to not waste much. It’s going together ok even though it’s squiffy. Luckily I like the rustic homemade look.
I haven't seen a green screen, love the quilts, I'm making an Irish chain quilt for my granddaughter who is about to leave her cot a go into a bed (big step only 2 1/2 years old ), love the vlog see you soon xx
Hi Gayna, no green screen here in Norwich! I like the swing, just love how it comes with a shelf to put your wine glass and knitting on. Does Toby have any shirts left? Great to see you using them for a quilt. The willow will look very pretty when it has leaves on it. Never mind 'building with Cuckoo' how about Cuckoo Construction? Competition for Toby.
Cuckoo construction! Cuckoo demolishing would be better. Ha! Toby has many many shirts left and I have a greedy flint in my eye for them all. I literally want to take the shirt off his back 😜
Can you tell me the pruning system for Wisteria -lease. A friend of mine has one on his new house he’s just moved into and isn’t;t sure how to do it. Xxx
I’ll WhatsApp you a link to a video. It’s a rule of two and seven. Cut the ships to two buds from the plant in February (second month) and to 7 buds in August. X
I’ll have to get some chia, linseed and hemp seeds. I eat planets of walnuts (great for gut health too) and rapeseed oil. I love the nutty flavour. Thank you for the tips x
Oh so lovely to see you today. Sitting knitting prayer squares to put in Easter cards that will be posted tomorrow. Your frogging idea is great! The willow screen will be lovely. I hope you raise lots of money for Bill's school. Unfortunately I don't use pay pal 😔💷🤗
I was watching Sandra yesterday and the green screen showed up. I haven't seen it on any other vlogs though, so thought it must be Sandra'se edit alone...
Lovely to see ya! I've recently been diagnosed with RA which explains an awful lot. I'm following the Dr Brooke Goldner protocol which includes green smoothies with flax and chia, that's how I get my omegas, because I'm pretty much vegan. Thank you for popping by, Helen x
Goodness, I think you look lovely without makeup! So glad you posted a new video:).
I look like a peeled potato with no make up on 🤪🤣🤣🤣🤣 but I don’t mind. It’s only skin deep. X

We get a lot of rain so it is mostly very green here. I do love it that’s for sure. Xxx
Really lovely to see you . Love the beautiful quilt . Interesting about your mineral & vit levels . Well done on the fundraising so far you 🌟
I was so relieved to find out there was something I could do to help lift me up a bit. I thought it was just late winter/covid blues.
Great to see you. Great quilt in the making👍 i had the blue screen to.😘😘
Maybe TH-cam was having an off day. X

You got so lucky with your locum, I’m glad you did though!
I can answer this, sadly he isn’t in the West Country. He’d have a queue if he was 🤪
Thank you for another lovely vlog some time I have to laugh because you’re so funny what joy to have your Gayna lots of love enjoy Sunday
I love that I make you laugh xxx
