I'll never forget what Jamie Foxx said in an interview when speaking about his grandmother. He said that she was his first acting coach. He said, when he was a kid, she would say to him ( when he would be misbehaving), "Boy, you better act like you got some sense!" As a mother and also as a matter of fact, I used that line several times myself when speaking to my own son....it worked!!! Just a little shout out, to his wonderful grandmother. She did a great job raising him.

There will never be another Sammy Davis Jr who was the best in the business. But Jamie Foxx has a lot of Sammy's gravitas. He is a well-rounded entertainer and loves the business and never stops being entertaining.

I'll never forget what Jamie Foxx said in an interview when speaking about his grandmother. He said that she was his first acting coach. He said, when he was a kid, she would say to him ( when he would be misbehaving), "Boy, you better act like you got some sense!" As a mother and also as a matter of fact, I used that line several times myself when speaking to my own son....it worked!!! Just a little shout out, to his wonderful grandmother. She did a great job raising him.
Some of my pops lines were put a rubber band around your head and snap out of it, and when we'd see a kid acting up, man, if that was you, you wouldn't have no teeth and no ___ . Those were different days, the 60s & 70s.... What am I talking about he was saying those up until a couple years ago.
