I just feel like nobody has pointed this out, but Floyd literally said past Azul “wasn’t lame” so past Azul was interesting, he kept Floyd’s attention. Floyd has stayed because he truly likes Azul, as he is and as he was. A pudgy octopus who was bullied by others, he’s still fun
