- What is up guys, today I will be showing you how I replaced a 2012 CT200h Brake actuator. Sorry for the weird audio but the audio got messed up after exporting so I had to take a video of the video playing w/ good audio and lay it over the bad video. Anyway, I hope this video helps you guys out if you are planning on replacing your brake actuator. To be honest, this job is very much like the prius actuator as well.
I don't recommend doing this job if you don't have a scanner with the abs bleeding, and relearn procedures. Or if you guys aren't comfortable with brake bleeding and brake repair work.

can you bleed the brakes normally or is the scan tool required?
Hello. I have replaced my ABS today at car service. For replacement they used used ABS. It is 2011 Lexus CT200h. But during cornering ABS start work and slow down the car. Could you please help me? What should be done to fix this problem? I think it needs some kind of calibration.
Is there any abs lights on? Dash lights?
Tbh it's very hard to diagnose a car without seeing it. Also it's hard when it was a used part as well. From my experience used parts especially abs actuators on toyotas don't take the relearns very well.

Hi . What was issue? Why did you replace? Also did you replaced pump?
The actuator leaks internally and won’t hold pressure from the pump . Throw a code like c1931 .
Great video , two things, please don’t pry off the electric clips , squeeze them with needle nose and water is best to wash away brake fluid.

Hello I have serious doubts if a prius plus ZVW40 with ENGINE CODE: 2ZR_FXE 2015. If I can do the brake fluid change myself or you have to do it by diagnostic machine. Above all my main doubt is whether for this change you have to purge the race simulator or only have to be done when changing for example the ABS, the Brake Reinforcer or some of the lines. Hello, I have a CT 2012 with 150k miles I just heard a noise when braking 5 to 20mph , sounds like a bicycle with a baseball card on the spokes. Can somebody confirm this is the noise it makes when you need a new brake actuator ?? Thanks in advance

How common is this issue? This part is almost 6000$CAD new from the dealer so if this is common thats crazy
Haven’t seen it much in cts however it’s a pretty common issue with Prius. I mean it’s a little over 10 years old and you use it every single time you drive.

Off the top of my head I dont know. I've never worked on one but I can imagine bleeding procedure and labor will be very similar. Most of these cars are pretty similar.

Tbh I’m not sure. Sorry I just video tape my jobs. I don’t order parts etc.
Do you have an estimate on what the part costs and what a service shop would charge to replace?

@@Garageguywy thank you. My local toyota dealership quoted me $3500 for parts and labor. After watching this, it looks like it is a lot of work but not $3500 worth. I could get a new engine for that price.
The ct I’m doing now the part list for 770 from Lexus
The video made it easy
