Wonderful video, Ming! Thanks for sharing. Really helpful tips, particularly the scopes (project vs. global) of the saved stills (powergrades), and the "free" upscaling for media in a specific timeline. You're the second person I've seen use the saturation trick, but you used a variant I hadn't seen (bumping it all the way down as a form of normalization across all hues, and then slowly scaling it to see how the levels are distributed - really neat!) I believe the other person had scaled down the saturation to make changes to the contrast more obvious/vivid in a sense. Thanks again for the example, stay well!
You would simply make a timeline in Davinci Resolve in 8k. Then use the neural network upscale (check out my video here for that: th-cam.com/video/ktu4WfjYoV0/w-d-xo.html) it would scale your image up to a 33mp image. You wouldn't lose quality.
Hi< i am trying to batch export about 200 pictures i edited on resolve 18 and only one gets exported, i am pretty sure i have tried everything. is batch export for stills even possible, i have done it with video.
Is there any way to improve quality of old pics? How can I know what resolution fits better? I have followed the tutorial, all great, however at the moment of exporting the pic became quite small
There is indeed. I've actually been fixing some old family photos with Resolve. I shall simply record my next one and put that up for you so as a tutorial soon. Thank you for the question.
