I agree with that she’s super funny but I always prefer the Andrew and Bobby interactions and since she came on it’s such a different vibe than that. At least doc is weird and Rudy is usually quiet. I have no problems with juice and think she’s super funny it’s just a more basic form of funny. Not in a bad way just she’s exactly as funny as you expect a comedian to be. Doc at least has other jobs and shit. Three career comedians on a podcast is the most boring dynamic.

I have Crohn's, and have had a fistula connecting my colon to my bladder, and have experienced the "Weiner fart". It's not as fun as it sounds. It was one of the most painful experiences I've had, and required surgery to fix it. I do appreciate how Bobby mentions Crohn's now and then. Bringing attention to it really helps. @@marshpw Yes, but this happens to be the one where you have to crank the gain for any source not EATING the mic, meaning that the extra gain or compression is going to bring out noise and the room itself in spades. Also, the high-end is particularly bad for capturing vocals in music, meaning that when the mixer inevitably CRANKS 10k to pretend they used a decent mic, it just sounds unnatural and disconnected from the rest of the voice. But yes, it could be less sucky in specific situations (live brass in a room with the whole band, for instance) I guess I meant that it's a total loser compared to it's reputation, and most podcasts would benefit from getting something better-suited in the same price-range😅

@@marshpw Yes, but this happens to be the one where you have to crank the gain for any source not EATING the mic, meaning that the extra gain or compression is going to bring out noise and the room itself in spades.
Also, the high-end is particularly bad for capturing vocals in music, meaning that when the mixer inevitably CRANKS 10k to pretend they used a decent mic, it just sounds unnatural and disconnected from the rest of the voice.
But yes, it could be less sucky in specific situations (live brass in a room with the whole band, for instance)
I guess I meant that it's a total loser compared to it's reputation, and most podcasts would benefit from getting something better-suited in the same price-range😅
